Pakistan is already a member of SCO. With regional economic intergration in mind with CPEC as a pilot project, Pakistan wouldnt again anything which it already doesnt have, to be part of BRICS. Its the China and Russia which matters and we already have solidified relations with both so who cares what is happening in some random Indian city. Besides, for Pakistani national interests, it is best to keep Pakistani politicians far away from Indians at this point in time, specially the Ganja and his PML(N).

If Pakistan is invited to BRICS, it will sure raise Kashmir. That will be spoil the summit with India and Pakistan bickering. BRICS is a serious economic summit the world will be watching, let it remain serious.

As on formalizing the LoC, Pakistan feels that it can get more than LoC, so Kashmir will be live for foreseeable future.
