The one infront is a Yuan class, the back one is a new class not yet identified. Photos of these 2 subs have been in Internet for few months now.

the one in front is indeed 039 yuan class but the one in back is 041 song class which is newer version of 039 yuan class sub. And according to my knowledge Pakistan navy is interested in acquiring both of these whit JV and TOT lets hope our idiotic government realize our navy imbalance ( more ships and less subs) and Indian navy's growing might in this region and finally do all us ( china and Pakistan ) a favor by providing some funds.

^^^ The back one is not a song class and its not a new submarine its older than yuan.
It can be either new improved "A" variant of yuan or it can be new next class of submarine.

The one with the bigger conning tower was at first thought to be CG or photoshop when it's photo first appeared in Sino-Defence forum few months ago and hotly disputed, and later accepted as a new class of sub which no information was available. It is certainly a new design after the Yuan class development. It is also bigger than Yuan class.

Song Class is older than Yuan, and is smaller and has different hull shape than this one, so it is not a Song class.
