What's new

Netflix could launch in India soon

Yet another Amercian company to leech share of money. I would pay for movies if distributer company is Indian and i keep the movie forever.

hmm, in China it's mostly free legally. Sites such as Youku, Iqiyi, and such license tv and movies and you can stream them free with ads in the beginning, or you can sign up for a cheap membership and see no ads.

Is India moving this direction? With the population, this model may work.

free or subscribe. Me and a few friends and family members I know subscribe. We barely watch, but it's like $2 US a month, so it's an impulse purchase.

Either way, I think with a growing economy, people will care about the cash less and less.

Quite a bit of Bollywood movies on Netflix, I'm surprised they haven't made this decision sooner.
