NETANYAHU: ARCHAEOLOGY, DNA PROVE PALESTINIANS NOT NATIVE TO LAND OF ISRAEL

. .
You are mixing to things together. Yes race is more important in the Jewish faith than in other religion.

The reason being that the entire Jewish nation took an oath and made a covenant with God in front of mount Sinai .

This covenant is binding on all those who where present there in front of mount Sinai , there sons and there sons sons , till the end of time.

That is why race is important in the Jewish faith , it is not about privileges that you get from being a Jew but about duty to follow the commandments given. This duty is only set on Jews and there descendants. That is why Jewish people never tried to convert or impose there religion on others , where not involved in crusaders like war or had dreadful institution like the Spanish inqisition trying to force their religion on others.

The oath they took was binding on them only and it was not their business what other nations do, or do not do.

~

If the oath is only limited to the true blood line of jews than why are converted jews screaming the land of israel was given by God to them??

The prophecy of the promised messiah to come will be from the bloodline of king david the true jews not some converts from europe, how can the khazars claim the prophecy and the land as their God given right??

how do arab muslims respond to this?
[Qur'an: Sura 29, "The Spider", verse 47]

"Enter, My People, the Holy Land which Allah has assigned for you. Do not turn back, or you shall be ruined".

[Qur'an: Sura 5, "The Table, verse 21]

"We [Allah] settled the Israelites in a blessed land and provided them with good things".

[Qur'an: Sura 10, "Jonah", verse 93]

"Pharoah sought to scare them [the Jews] out of the land [of Israel]: but We [Allah] drowned him, together with all who were with him. Then We said to the Israelites: 'Dwell in this land. When the promise of the hereafter comes to be fulfilled, We shall assemble you all together [in the Land of Israel in the End of Days]".

Could DNA testing prove Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s politics? He seems to think so.

On Sunday, Netanyahu tweeted that, “A new study of DNA recovered from an ancient Philistine site in the Israeli city of Ashkelon confirms what we know from the Bible – that the origin of the Philistines is in southern Europe,” quoting research released last week by the Leon Levy Expedition to Ashkelon, which revealed that the ancient people most known for their biblical conflict with the Israelites were immigrants to the region in the 12th century BCE.

Biblical Philistines—archenemies of ancient Israelites—hailed from Europe, DNA reveals

“For 30 years, we excavated at Ashkelon, uncovering Canaanites, early Philistines and later Philistines – and now we can begin to understand the story that these bones tell,” said Daniel M. Master, director of the Leon Levy Expedition to Ashkelon, who headed the excavations.

The team used state-of-the-art DNA technologies on ancient bone samples unearthed during the excavation from 1985-2016. Analyzing for the first time genome-wide data retrieved from people who lived in Ashkelon during the Bronze and Iron ages (around 3,600 to 2,800 years ago), the team found that a substantial proportion of their ancestry was derived from a European population. This European-derived ancestry was introduced into Ashkelon around the time of the Philistines’ estimated arrival in the 12th century BCE.

“The Bible mentions a place called Caphtor, which is probably modern-day Crete,” Netanyahu continued in a follow up tweet. “There’s no connection between the ancient Philistines & the modern Palestinians, whose ancestors came from the Arabian Peninsula to the Land of Israel thousands of years later.”

Ancient DNA may reveal origin of the Philistines
Historical accounts and archaeology agree that the biggest villains of the Hebrew Bible were ‘different’—but how different were they really?

According to the Book of Joshua, the land of the Philistines was in the southwestern Levant comprising the five city-states of Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Ekron and Gath, from Wadi Gaza in the south to the Yarkon River in the north. It was from this designation that the whole of the country was later called Palestine by the Greeks.

“The Palestinians’ connection to the Land of Israel is nothing compared to the 4,000-year connection that the Jewish people have with the land,” Netanyahu concluded.

But your own book say otherwise. So we believe you or your book?

.
Practically, since no one is going anywhere the best thing is to accept each other as co-owners of that disputed land.

There should be a single country for the Muslims, Christians and Jews. The name of the country can be anything, for example Isratin.

@500 @DavidSling @Falcon29

What should be and what will be are two different things, unfortunately.

. .
When will Netanyahu do a DNA test himself to prove he is from the real bloodline of Jews and not from the converts ashkenazi jews???
I wouldnt be holding my breath on that score.:azn:

No one is native to anywhere. At some point someone else lived on the very land many of us I habit at this moment in time and soon after us other will come.

This is why I oppose nations and borders and even homes as these are man made constructs.

Well, it was Gaddafi's proposal. He called it the White Book.

Whatever the Western governments say about him, he made sense.
Gaddafi was an African

Nicely put.

Gaddafi was an African

Yes, he was even talking of an United States of Africa.

Though he didn't limit his ideas and works and supports to Africa. For example, he supported movements like the South American FARC and internationalist revolutionaries like Carlos.

Pure genius my friend

Indeed.

Simple and genius.

Fake fabricates news by Zionists the fact is that philistinisms lived in the holy land at least a tounsant years to Usraelis..

But a Russian is. What a joke.

.
People have migrated to other regions throughout ages, so...

Anyways, modern-era Israel, Gaza, West Bank and Jordan were all part of a temporary British protectorate known as the Emirate of Transjordan in 1920.

The British decided to split the Emirate of Transjordan into two parts in 1922 (Sykes-Picot Agreement, 1916; The Balfour Declaration, 1917); one half was declared as the Palestine.

images

The British saw in modern-era Palestine a permanent settlement for the jews.

images

"When it is asked what is meant by the development of the Jewish National Home in Palestine, it may be answered that it is not the imposition of a Jewish nationality upon the inhabitants of Palestine as a whole, but the further development of the existing Jewish community, with the assistance of Jews in other parts of the world, in order that it may become a centre in which the Jewish people as a whole may take, on grounds of religion and race, an interest and a pride. But in order that this community should have the best prospect of free development and provide a full opportunity for the Jewish people to display its capacities, it is essential that it should know that it is in Palestine as of right and not on sufferance." - Winston Churchill, British Secretary of State for the Colonies (1922)

- but favored one-state solution.

I think that one-state solution is for the best; Israel, Hamas, West Bank and Jerusalem should be merged into whole again.

Two-state solution does not look possible. This is apparent from Camp David (2000) and the Taba Summit (2001). Jared Kushner is unlikely to achieve a breakthrough either.
