indian army does not use airforce on it's citizen , pak airforce was used in fata .

As for Pak using airforce.. mostly it was Pak Army Aviation supporting troops with Cobras and only occasionally using Airforce by to destroy or dislodge Taliban from mountain peaks or tunnels by lasing the targets.

Unlike india Pakistan doesn’t bomb entire cities and start insurgencies like northeast states of india where indian airforce bombed an entire city and caused an uprising which is still continuing after so many years.

Ever heard of PGMs used for bunkers n tunnels in mountains?

Entire agencies were evacuated, 1.5-2 million people were living in IDP camps when the operations were stated.
You can’t even compare the terrain or Taliban (whom even NATO couldn’t defeat).. with a few 20 year old kids with AKs snatched from your troops in an open air prison, also known as the most militarised zone on earth..

Kashmiri's are not like Syrians or Palestinians, they have the backing of Pakistan. Before Musharraf withdrew, even with limited support whole swathes of Kashmir valley were no go areas for Indian army.

Someone remind Bipin about what happened with Israel attacked Hizbollah, or when two super powers attacked Afghanistan. Both times freedom fighters backed by Pakistan destroyed attacking forces. The USSR was forced out and the USA is on it's way out too.

AZADI will not happen, you cannot fight the Army — this is a dictum Kashmiri youth need to know, Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat has said, in an interview to The Indian Express.

Expressing concern over Kashmiri youth “picking up the gun” and “those who tell them (that) this path will bring Azadi…misleading them,” Gen Rawat said: “I want to tell Kashmiri youth that Azadi isn’t possible. It won’t happen. Don’t get carried away unnecessarily. Why are you picking up weapons? We will always fight those who seek Azadi, those who want to secede. (Azadi) is not going to happen, never”.

General Rawat said that he doesn’t attach much importance to the number of militants who are killed in encounters with the Army. “These numbers don’t matter to me because I know this cycle will continue. There are fresh recruitments happening. I only want to stress that all this is futile, nothing is going to be achieved by them. You can’t fight the Army”.

General Rawat said he is perturbed by the killings. “We don’t enjoy it. But if you want to fight us, then we will fight you with all our force. First of all, it wasn't just no go villages, it was entire areas of the Valley. Secondly, your government used to ask Pakistan to bring LeT and Hizb ul Mujahideen to the table, that was the effective of the strategy in the late 90's.
