Investments only need approval by host nations, why they need India's? In fact India is the one parroting EU's stupid line of calling Chinese investment as "predatory", when they don't even have anything worth acquiring. China began industrialization with labour-intensive manufacturing, just Hong Kong capital alone employs 30 million JOBS in Guangdong at its peak. From 2000's onward China has been picking speed in automation, last year out of 100 industrial robots installed worldwide 44 were in China, this trend is expected to continue if not accelerate until robot density reaches close to that of Japan/South Korea levels. Labour-intensive manufacturing is leaving China seeking cost-effective destinations, it's India's own loss to miss millions of JOBS for its blind hatred of China.
