There was this Muslim cleric here in Sydney, who couple of years back during one his sermons in a local mosque, compared "white/western Australian girls" as open meat, and said if you leave the meat in open the cats will come get it. He was pretty much saying that if you don't cover up, then don't complain about getting raped. And then people wonder why such anti-Muslim opinion.

The Australians aren't that bad. It's just that they are so far away from the rest of the world that they tend to be a little racist.

Its not racism really, if you are hard working, honest person, no one will ever say anything to you. But if you are going to come to their country and be a d**K, then obviously you ll get some flak coming your way.

After all, this is the home of Rupert Murdoch, owner of News Corp., owner of Fox News.

Speaking of Sheikh Hilaly, what he said was stupid, but the Australian media didn't make a fuss when a white female Christian judge in Victoria chided sexual harrassment victims for dressing provocatively. The Australian media also makes a mountain out of a molehill every time a Muslim does something wrong.

It is undeniable that the bigot-infested Australian media plays a big role in promoting anti-Muslim attitudes in Australia. This allows demagogs in both political parties to scapegoat Muslims to score cheap political points. When the media and the top politicians behave this way, it sends a clear signal to the average person that this bigotry is acceptable.

The worst country is the UK when it comes to racism. I was once walking down a street when two girls from the opposite side scream 'Fcuking pakis' and walk away.

Only youngsters there are like that. Talk to older grown up people they are pretty decent mannered. Don't generalize the whole population for the act of few.
