PIND DAD KHAN: President General Pervez Musharraf said Wednesday that the former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League PML (N) chief Muhammad Nawaz Sharif could not return to Pakistan as he had accepted to live in exile on his own accord.

He sated this while addressing a public gathering here.

A gentleman and high profile personality brokered an agreement under which Nawaz Sharif was freed despite the court had sentenced him, he said, adding that which Nawaz Sharif had begged pardon through the that great personality and opted to live in exile for ten years without indulging in politics.

The high profile personality that brokered the agreement between Nawaz Sharif and the government has asked Nawaz that he could not go back to Pakistan under the said agreement, he informed.

“This is the year of elections so no body will be allowed to create law and order situation,” Musharraf remarked.
