Yeah totally I would feel robbed because I dont have those hands that convert stuff to gold like how his kids do. Its just their brilliance that in their low teens they were able to invest and buy properties worth millions. That money is the question, where and how did they receive it. He denies having anything to do with those properties but his son admits its theirs. How do they keep getting rich whenever they are in power?

Since they are all doing everything legal, its probably why they are so reluctant to form an actual commission with reasonable ToRs. Their current version is like a prisoner telling the jailer to make the prison out of tooth picks so its easily breakable.

I feel he will do his best to squeeze every penny he can then run off to SA or some other heaven where he cant be touched.

As a small time investor myself, I can tell you how quickly one can multiply their investments as long as they have a good chunk to start with. There are so many investment options available stocks, dividends, IRAs, property etc that within a decade you can double your initial investment. And if you have millions to start with? your gains will be in 100s of millions. That's how fast the money grows. The rich get richer for a reason.

Thing is that we love to talk about the corruption of the politicians and 9 out of 10 there usually is something fishy . I'm not gonna put a blindfold on and say everything is kosher with the Shareefs. But i'm also not in the habit of slinging mud to see what sticks. Following the money trail isn't as easy as it's purported to be. You need so much data and history of transactions to just get started. To say conclusively that the shareefs are undeniably corrupt would be very unreasonable. But I do believe that being in power and as elected officials they should take the moral high ground and declared their assets to public.

I want to stress the age of his kids, that would have been around 13-16 ish. I remember I was having a tough time in maths but these brilliant kids managed to get a huge ROI while their father had no idea whats going on and at this rate they would have been smarter than mark zuckerberg. But when you listen to their interviews, they sound pretty stupid and unable to use similar brilliance. Moral high ground comes later, first he needs to answer simple questions which he is so far unable to and is hiding behind the usual heavily biased commission excuse that works so well in Pakistani politics.

You know, Nawaz has a golden chance to eliminate this opposition esp. IK completely from politics and even secure his throne for next elections if he actually does what they are asking since every aspect of his life has been by legal means. Instead he goes on to blame Shakut Khunam hospital for corruption which during the past 2.5 years he didnt do anything about but create a fuss now. Its illegal for a PM not to carry out investigations as soon as finding out such trails and instead keeping this as a threat for future. And there is a reason this is just limited to threats.

So what's stopping you from going back? What you have said above are the same tired old excuses to cover illegal usurpation of power by the military. Let us never forget that even if the military takes over, it fails miserably in a few years and has to give up power to the rightfully elected representatives of the people. NS is the elected PM, and he can and should be removed only by due process, not by trumped up so-called "necessity".

I never advocate martial law but there are other means to nudge an elected gov to behave, its ugly but effective.The threat of Martial law is not the only way.

due process works when the system works, and to make the system work he needs to let it work... so yea, it depends on his actions what he brings upon himself
whether it is him answering to the courts how his son become a multimillionaire when he was 14 or whether he squashes it and the people come on the streets and martial law comes

As long as due process is followed, he can be removed as PM. The EC can disqualify his election to the Parliament. The Parliament can pass a No Confidence motion against him. Or he can lose the next election. However, removing him by coup or street agitation would be a huge mistake. Why do we forget the bitter lessons from Pakistan's history so quickly?
