Predict what ?. If the oceans and seas are free to all then what is need for terms like sea-limits and territorial waters. Can the China welcome Indian presence in South China sea, East China sea or yellow sea.

Btw, what is mare liberum. Is that an International law. I can only see this as a book written by someone in 16th century.

Buddy, china will not enter your territorial water, but indian ocean is not indian territorial water, just a liitle part of indian ocean is indian territorial water and most of it is free sea which any country has right to enter it.

Who said Indian ocean belongs to India. What we meant by increased presence of Chinese submarines in those region means that there are some reason for them to be here. Also submarines are patrolling not for peaceful purposes.

And i am so confued why indian blam that chinese sub entering indian ocean. Why chinese sub can not patrol indian ocean since indian and US are doing so? The same ocean, and the equal legal right to enter it. I am so confused, can any one answer me?
