340 4.5 Generation figthers?!?!Are you trolling or being serious...
On a more serious note-we can't afford that many figthers now or within 20-30 years in the Future.

Even By the Time we have the financial means to purchase all those figthers im sure countries will have prototypes of sixth generation Figthers Out.

An attack on Bangladesh is idiotic and everyone knows that.If India try an actual military assault,international responses will clamp down on them in days. To add to that they have Pakistan on one side and China on the Other...and we've recently seen what the chinese are capable of doing. India won't attack BD now or in the future.It doesn't suit there long term needs since they need at least one Strong Ally in the Future, although we will have to strengthen our politcal will since im sure they may try to gain a foothold if the US don't beat them to it.Only an Stupid Government will try to make allies of all regional countries(Just look at Israel).

However you do have a point-Our Military upper Brass have to plan out every possible sceanario and danger to BD and im sure India also has to consider BD as a potential threat.However a war between any state in South Asia right now is very unlikely. However im not sure about India-Pakistan Relations currently and BD-Myanmar war is much more Likely than a BD-India war.

These sort of issues can't be solved via our Military. They are petty issues we have with India-using the military to solve them is pathetic on our Part.

Myanmar is a military Junta while India Isn't. Also main difference is that Myanmars modernisation is to make sure they Best Bangladesh-A lot of their Military Upper Brass are actually worried that we are going to invade them.

Names of the ships are BNS durjoy, BNS nirmul and BNS surma . though not sure but I think this is locally made LPC or the 600 ton Corvette from China not the old Chinese frigate that we are going to induct soon .

I thought BNS Surma is made in Bangladesh???

i do not have names of other 3 ships, initial target is 10 as far as i know. 5 this year and 5 next year

AFAIK - hand over of first batch of five standardized 50-meter, 255-ton Padma-class FAC (OPV) built at KSY - BNS Padma, BNS Surma, BNS Aparajeya, BNS Adamya and BNS Atandra to Bangladesh Navy were completed around November 2013. 25 Hulls total of this class are planned to be built at KSY and inducted through the next decade. EEZ and fisheries enforcement patrol are their main duties.

Induction will take this long because KSY is also building 6 more hulls of the Durjoy class 64m 650 ton FACs (some would say LPC-M, having C802 missile suite) and of course two more hulls of large 90m 1400 ton Type 056 OPVs (some may choose to call these corvettes or Littoral Combat ship). The latter will be the largest warships built locally so far.

And for those who are wondering - the Navy in Myanmar is already building their own stealth frigates - Aung Zeya class, three (?) completed so far. Good show!
