Severe consequences can be averted. Who do you think NATO is? They are heavily dependent upon Pakistan as a transit route. It's doubtful they will want to get into a confrontation with Pakistan. Your a commoner and an Hindustani your people lived under 1,000 years of conquest by other civilizations, I don't expect you to understand what it means to defend. You go back to being a docile Indian...

Pakistani military has more than enough power to withstand and fight and destroy NATO forces in Afghanistan, NATO is surrounded, vulnerable, supply routes in Pakistan, energy (oil) supplies can be easily cut off. Besides, NATO troops aren't prepared for a conventional war there force numbers and technology and military hardware doesn't make them capable of waging or thrusting war into Pakistan...

In such a case Pakistan does hit a few NATO outposts, all that would most likely happen is NATO complains or NATO helos do some firing back, and both sides opt of cease fire....

I hope you don't think NATO is actually going to wage war with Pakistan, it's incapable of doing so...This isn't Libya understand?

Common Pakistani peoples are fully burning after too much border violations, if the war starts whole Pakistan(even common peoples) from North to South will unite & fight with soilder brothers. Pakistanis don't want war but if any one violates Pakistan's sovereignty than it is a very big issue. Pakistan is not Afghanistan or Iraq or Libya.

Nukes are not needed to shoot down attacking helicopter..a pair of balls is needed...
If our military commanders give the command to defend the country..the armed forces are well capable of doing so...but then again...a nice pair of balls is needed.
