What's new

National Mourning Day today

I like you too but I disagree. I hope you are not short sighted. Unlike you, I can not forget how Hindus treated poor Muslims in Bengal. Enemy of past can not be friend of today. At least I am not seeing it. I also believe that they are our direct enemy. So why should I hold back on enemy. I like direct approach. If I don't like some one they I will tell that to his face instead of wearing fake smile. I do not like back stabber.

By the way, my name spell as ZAKIR. I notice you spell as Zaker.

I don't know man, but that was a long time ago. It's usually best not the hang on to old religion based hatreds. Although at the same time it is good to be cautious, especially with the current state of affairs in Bangladesh. Keep it up in exposing India's intentions in AL-ruled Bangladesh.

It is understandable why the All India Muslim League was created in Dhaka, and not Islamabad. I find it ironic that East Pakistan broke off and became Bangladesh being founded on Socialist principles.

Although there were important factors that strengthened Mujib's cause, I'd have to admit that there were some serious propaganda going on there at the same time. Of-course, we all know who was pulling the strings back then. And now we risk paying the price.

The answer of this very important question is necessary to know. Why?

Identity.

Bangladesh generally has a very weak sense of identity, much of it accompanied by propaganda i.e. Pictures and portraits of Mujib. Hell, even a proposed $7.5 billion airport named after him! What next, a picture of him on school text books? Or a portrait of him in every home?

But I am certain that at some point in the future, people will realize the true face of the AL and its masters. And actually, many people like you and me already know it.

It only comes down to the majority of Bangladeshis who are not very educated, often a forgetful and a whimsical nation as it is now. If we are to compare Bangladesh to Thailand (suppose) it'll take a long time for Bangladesh to benchmark by their standards on almost every aspect of life.
