Media and their cronies in intelligentsia, courts, etc won't allow it. Time for India to take over and cut off corrupt heads. Listen it may sound harsh but think about the reality. We can wait forever and hope justice prevails. It can take decades. Or we can take attack corruption quickly and effectively. The corrupt SOBs use the courts and time to their advantage. At this rate, its almost impossible to purge India of these filth because they such a long time to entrench themselves into the democratic foundations and pillars of this country. The same politicians who make and pass laws are using their power to create loopholes like the one seen in Maldives and Mauritius. Think about it. How the f-k do you think this situation can be addressed lawfully? Democracy is not perfect I understand but India needs to restart democracy and create an even playing field. As far as the procurements are concerned, it will be easy to recover our money cause on the contract it can not say the ship will be made using commercial steel.

This was an Italian firm Fincantieri who were given a contract to deliver A Fleet Tanker made from commercial steel which is against policy.

The original RFP asked for military grade steel and when they said they could not deliver with that quality, the quality was reduced to help them deliver what ever they could. Their reputation is safe, its the IN reputation that is ruined.
