One Main CSD and a few other Mini CSDs.What is the reality and what is pretense, who knows?
Back to the topic:
How many CSD stores are there in Lahore now? Still one?
One Main CSD and a few other Mini CSDs.
Yeah, near Rahat Bakers. The Main CSD has expanded now, a small car park with all other stores withing the compound. That is a good strategy, given the expansion of Lahore. Not everybody can travel to the central one. Is it still on Aziz Bhatti Road? That space must be too small by now. It did not have many spaces for car parking even back then.

The last time i went there was to get a few uniforms, so just glanced at the main store. i think as most civilians use it they already are expanding. i have seen CSDs where fauj dont exist. Still, CSD is a civilian department and they are @ssholes.Given its role, it is high time to consider a big departmental store style CSD in a brand new space, as well as a supporting transport and delivery fleet, seriously.
Items at the CSD are not subsidized for anyone, not even the faujis.
Yes, like you must have experienced at very large stores e.g Macro, Metro or other large vendors, that things are usually cheaper by a few rupees because of the huge circulation, similarly CSD like any other large outlets have cheaper items available even to the civilians.
Lately, we have started giving 5% discount at CSDs to faujis provided they get a discount card prepared.
