Has anyone seen the movie on Alexander the Great? They don't tell this stuff in movies, but when Alexander first arrived in Anatolia; he jumped off his ship & threw his spear towards the seashore. I have heard that when the spear landed on the shore, Alexander screamed something around the lines of; "Asia, you are mine". Later, the Greek armies marched to the site of the Trojan War. According to some accounts; Alexander disposed of his armor & weapons, & instead took the armor & weapons of fallen Greek heroes at the site of the Trojan War. Apparently, he believed that by acquiring their weapons; their spirits would help in the Greek's struggle against Persia.

Both Cardio & Neuro sounds good; my Dad wanted to go for Neurosurgery but he ended up going for Gastroenterology & Hepatology instead.

Wow …… from the quarrel between Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite to the Iliad and Odyssey.

We do have three Goddesses here, reminiscent of Greek Mythology.

The Iliad and Odyssey are the daily chores on this thread.
