I don't sound to be idealistic, but it works out good.
Stop whining. Bring 90% and then don't ask them to buy anything even if they insist.
My parents did that too but all they wanted me to work hard and no matter whatever my % was, they didn't care.
Result is not what parents actually care, its the dedication and hard work they want to see in you so that you can take on life even when you are knocked down.
As I grew up, whatever my dad taught me helped me a lot. From education, to profession, to social behavior.
Learn Survival not crying out for lollipops. If they give 50 rps, save 30.

You can't tell such things to your parents, no one can. They need to feel it in your attitude that you are all grown up. I left my parents nest when I was barely 16, even younger than that.
