Then why are you waiting for us to achieve that super duper awsome Pakistani capability in missile tech?

Come and take Kashmir...

Just what are you trying to prove?Every 1 knows what pakistans missile is capable of and second thing NASR is battle filed missile not for high picked targets thats why is short range well Every missile have different purpose its not like that only agni series are coming and just increasing the range by making bigger

a voice of wishdom that is hardly get notice these days.
Writers assumption is correct on the response of Indian millitry on use of TNW or full fledge nuclear strike, its will be classified as NEUCLEAR STRIKE thus the response will be heavy and sevier.

Ummm... isn't that the whole point?

To lower the nuclear threshold?

@ Praveen007

Tests and induction are completely separate things, India has tested a lot of ballistic missiles but only the 150 km Prithvi missile (if i am not wrong) is operational.

Which means if the war breaks out today, India can't rely on its missiles to strike Pakistan's cities.

Sir,

Let us not dwell on that idea---the price of contention is very high---we don't want to be wrong----.

Wisdom lay in knowing when to stop raising the stakes...
;)

And funnily enough, this sentence is actually very relevant to the topic.

The question is, who has a higher tolerance for pain, India or Pakistan?

Cold start -> NASR -> Full-scale nuclear war.

Now given this, which Indian politician would dare to implement Cold start, even in the face of a hundred consecutive terrorist attacks?

Obviously the side which has little to lose.

...and we all know which side that would be.

Cold start -> NASR -> Full-scale nuclear war.

That means you have absolutely no idea about Cold Start and how it is supposed to be implemented.

You should sometimes also pay attention to PDF threads rather than flamebaiting, you know. ;)

If Kargil was anything to go by, I wouldn't count on that.

its mean you forget your so much land to occupied lolz

In international relations, it pays to be pragmatists.

We have all the land of Kashmir, we'd ever need.

We control the waters. We can turn the tap on and off anytime we want and as I understand we already do it.

We have what we want or what we'd ever possibly need.

Why take the additional trouble when it's not worth it?

nasr dig grave of cold start so they feel pain now in back as nasr not only counter them but that will be n more cold start but hot by nasr so you can expect from delhi made think tank anger on nasr is right lolz

You guys already deterred them easily in 2008, and that was before you even had NASR.

Now with NASR (and thus a much lower nuclear threshold), Cold start is really dead in the water.

What is your understanding of the cold war??

I'd indeed love it if Pakistanis were to nuke their own territory thereby rendering it worthless and uninhabitable for decades to come.

Will Pakistan, tiny as India left it after 1971, be able to absorb further loss of territory...

... I highly doubt that. As it is, many people in other Pakistani provinces are blaming Punjab for hogging all the resources.

With further loss of territory after nuking its own territory.

Coupled with India turning the tap off the rivers flowing into Pakistan, it will be interesting to see how Pakistani will manage to stay afloat?

Will Papa China come to help?

Of course!

China is always there to help..."Du our lovely Pakistani brother. We love du. Du want help? Oh butt du not Africa..."

Read the article and the thread. India's nuclear doctrine is a full-scale response to any nuclear attack (including tactical weapons like NASR) on any of its forces.

So basically, once NASR flies, the escalation up to full-scale nuclear war is inevitable.

Which is the whole point of NASR, to reduce the nuclear threshold, and thus to deter conventional Indian attacks like Cold start.

deterrence is there since 1985 we close this BS chapter if they are dancing bashing crying or fooling there side of border its not matter of pakistan but after 1971 full scale war dream is over and after 1985 and then missile race of 90s closed whole issue .now IA IAF IN leaders only bash time to time for just satisfy there public ago or after during 4 pegs of wine.now matter of crossing border and attack is like lose every thing but as you know indian media films dramas serials feed these kids alot so there are like baloons they will stay there .small scale combat door was open like we see siachin kargil surcreek but new after standoff missiles H-2 H-4 BABUR RAAD NASR HATF are there so this door also not work we seen last three times india send troops or jets and go back 2002 standoff was nearly 8 months india lose 40 solders lives millions bring hate on TV and public was exited as they are going to take pakistan but after 3 missile test in 3 days they start windrow .in fact indian gov and army knows from first day they will windrow .

Since when dd CD, the awesome, start taking India's doctrines at their face value, eh? ;)

LOL, check the actions of the Indian government regarding all the threats towards Pakistan post-2008. Surgical strikes, etc.

Secondly, if NASR is used on massed Indian formations, do you think you can seriously sit back and say "OK let's go home"?

Both responses (escalation/retreat) turn out badly for you, it's a Catch-22 situation. Which again, is the point of NASR, to deter a large conventional attack like Cold start.

.
Oh boy!

Stupidity galore...

'Massed Indian formations' and 'Cold start'...

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about...

thats mean you don't know NASR on cold start one of them lol

. .
Lets play poker and see if you anyone got the balls to nuke india with a tactical warhead and see what the outcome will be

Then implement Cold start and see if NASR is used. The ball is in your court.
