They are a fiercely independent people and quite educated too. India doesn't want an insurgency in Nagaland.

For now India is happy with cajoling and bribing their leaders to some extent.

Eventually at some point, Nagaland will break away from India, but time is not ripe yet.

In Nagaland, it is a quasi independent state. Indians have no say-so. They just leave them alone.

All states in India should declare independent. The cow belt States of UP and Bihar can join as one and would soon be a failed state. South India would be better off without North India.

Well the time is not ripe yet but South Indians and West Bengalis definitely aren't as racist and bigoted as Cow belt Indian states with sickly horrific economies. Their economies will implode if left alone.

Right now South India, Western India to some extent and Punjab is carrying the majority of the economic burden for these undeveloped cow-belt states.
