Don't be idiotic, its third generation fire and forget missile ..the idea itself came in to existence in late 1990s.

Lot of members pointed out that the integrated missile programme started in 80s not the Nag missile programme but your mind is closed to accept the truth?

Hmmm, no, both the Nag and Astra will turn out to be like the Akash system, which is a massive success now. Both Nag and Astra are nearing the end of their development, with production in sight.

Both Nag and Namica was ready back in 2012,but then change of specification and a failed test delayed it a bit for induction.But we got much more improved Nag with Namica.
