World in awe as India showcases indigenous weapon systems on Republic Day

There was no cutting edge or revolutionary systems. Every indian system has foreign IP and components in them. So, I don't know why the world would be in awe!

But, congratulations...
Bharat Forge manufactures auto components in India and exports them. They've been exporting castings across the world for ages.

Sources in the Kalyani Group said Bharat Forge has been able to carry out indigenisation of nearly 95 per cent of the vehicles, with only 5 per cent being imported from outside

India owns the IP of TATA WhAP, Akash SAM, ATAGS, NAG ATGMs, MBT Arjun. Few days ago, Indian govt have green lighted the integration of DRDO AIP on Kalvari class submarines. Such a complex system has been developed without outside help

As India celebrated its 74th Republic Day, the Kartavya Path in the national capital witnessed the prowess of the armed forces armoured with high-tech indigenously made defence equipment. This year, only indigenously made weapon systems were showcased at the Republic Day Parade including the 21-gun salute through 'Made in India' 105mm Indian Field Guns, MBT Arjun, Nag anti-tank guided missile, Akash air defence missiles, TATA WhAP, Kalyani M4, K-9 Vajra, BrahMos supersonic cruise missile including others. Indian Army's lethality, accuracy and reliability witnessed a leap with indigenous weapon systems

L&T has built 13 sub-systems of the gun, including fire control system, ammunition handling system, muzzle velocity radar, auxiliary powerpacks, air conditioning units
at its facilities in Pune, Talegaon and Powai in Maharashtra. Th SPHs incorporate 60% indigenous content, which involved sourcing some 13,000 components from nearly 1,000 local manufacturers. They've replaced 14 critical systems in the K9 Vajra-T to provide a bespoke solution for the requirements set out by the IA.

It was a lame show this year, no high ticket systems were shown. No Pinaka, or Arjun Mk 2, T-90s, Akash mk2, etc

Notable Indian technologies aboard the Kalvari class submarines include special material forgings from Flash Forge India, critical diving components and weapons handling machinery from SEC Industries, command consoles from HBL Power Systems, cables and other accessories. In future, they'll be fitted with DRDO developed phosphoric acid fuel cell air-independent propulsion during their first refit scheduled in 2024

Avionics systems from various countries integrated by Ramenskoye RPKB.
