NA to choose its speaker, deputy speaker today

Zardari is under severe pressure in Sindh pti is majority opposition party with a heavy mandate from Karachi they will make life hell for them he wants a working relation with PTI but Imran Khan and his voters are getting in the way from a position of weakness there is not much ppp can offer other than cooperation for Karachi based projects

If I was adviser or PTI then I would have suggested them to Support Bilawal for opposition leader in return of support for Speaker, Deputy Speaker and PM.

More than Zardari, I am disappointed with BAP's recent narrative that unless they get some ministry position at Federal level, they may not be part of voting today. This is pure blackmailing. PTI should take by elections seriously and get 80% of the seats to remain on the safer side moving forward.

Look at it from their perspective what they are doing is simple politics they want simple majority in next election in Balochistan for that they need to play their cards right

they likely to get the governance of entire province despite of not having simple majority..isn't this enough for a party which came into being barely few months back....too much greediness ...they should first prove their metal in Baluchistan for next 5 years, than can demand more positions in central..for now they are complete infant, vulnerable and more an opportunist party.

When negotiating you put forward your price you look for best bang for buck

I understand that but PTI were in talks with them prior to elections as well just like with GDA. What happened to those talks ? these things should had been sorted out before the elections. In case of MQM, talks only initiated after post elections results so one can expect certain demands from them but BAP seriously ?

PTI cannot be seen as someone shaking hands with PPP. This will negate IK stance for all those years and the opposition of PML N will have a field day exploiting it.

Exactly the day IK shakes hands with the people he has been demonising for the past 22 years...his political career is finished

voting for anyone is not like making an alliance with them...PPP and PTI did voted for the same candidate(s) during the senate elections to outcast PMLN nominations..that didn't turned out to be an alliance formation or 'shaking hands'..isnt it ? so what's the big deal if PTI and PPP reach to certain conclusion, exclusive for the days of speaker/PM/opposition leader voting.

Meanwhile, PPP candidate Agha Siraj Durrani elected as speaker of Sindh assembly. He received 96 votes while Javaid Hanif, opposition candidate got 59 votes.

Now all eyes on Punjab assembly speaker voting. This will decide whether PTI is forming govt in Punjab or not. Most likely they will but lets see.
