So the Pakistani army are Kaffirs?

Because as far as I can see, the only army which is bombing muslims in the subcontinent is the Pakistani Army.

When Pakistani Army fights and kills Muslims, they are doing the right thing, the dude they killed was the 'bad guy' but it is automatically assumed that if Indian Army kills a muslim then it has committed a wrong. It doesnt matter if that Muslim was going to blow himself up in a market!

Secondly, it was the Pakistani Army sending/selling people off to US to be sent to Gitmo.

And thirdly, fighting against Pakistan does not mean they are fighting against Allah or sleeping with the enemy or whatever $hit you conjure up. Pakistan is not Islam, nor Islam's guardian, nor the Islamic worlds leader. Infact, its nothing except for the fact that it has the bomb. Even then, it is of no use to any other country except itself. A sizeable majority of Muslims in India are loyal to India first and foremost, and its a sad fact if its not so in Pakistan ie Pakistan is first for its army personnel. And this is quite visible how the PA laid down arms when ordered to fight against the Taliban initially.

Use the same logic in india.......Because the surroundings had more hindus in india should it not be them that more hindus get killed then the muslim-sikhs and christians.

theres always myths but the proven facts are after 1982 sikhs started migrating to Pakistan....numbers in Lakhs.....mass genocide in India ; racial discrimination against Muslims,Sikhs,Chrisitians Churches mosques burned ; there's reports 3-5 racial discreamintion attack everyday thats are the people who actully file a police report against the others.

plz dont compare ur country with india...will u plz temme y minority population were decreasing day by day in BD..how many minority president or PM or in some higher posts u ppl get till now...i m from a minority community but i never felt discriminated..infact christian has more literacy rate than hindus....jains,sikhs has higher average income and literacy rate than hindus..so if muslims r in such a shabby conditions it gotta do with their own problems..its not bcoz of secular structures of india...

Thanks Tony. Maybe you can enlighten our neighbors on the real issues of the minorities in India and what is being done to tackle them.

which minorities are you talking about? The muslim minority in Bharat lags behind all other communities including the Dalit, in every socio economic index you care to list.

Whereas in Pakistan, the Hindu minority is much stronger, and ecnomically powerful than its numbers would suggest. Major landlords in interior Sindh province, and Baluchistan province are Hindus. They have a monopoly in cereal and rice trade, from the Aarti to the exporter.

Of course the Thar Hindus lag behind, but that is due to their nomadic lifestyle.

As for the sikhs, they also punch above their weight, being major business owners, especially in NWFP, heavily represneted in the pharmaceutical and medical stores business.

Christians have historically been behind, but that is due to their pre-conversion occupations of being cleaners and jamadaars. This has also changed profoundly, having availed of the good and free education provided by christian seminaries. They can now be seen in almost any govt. department from the police, to the judiciary, education. You care to name it, there'll be a christian in it.

Please don't make blanket statements, based more upon conjecture and ignorance than knowledge and reflection.

In the state of TN. Muslims got reservation for JOB and Education.
It really helped them in many ways.

They are very well educated due to the free education and the mid day meal scheme brought the poor kids to school atleast for lunch and the free books.

The education changed everything. The education system in India is one of the best. Don't compare india with any other country in free education. IITs, IIMs and AIIMS are rated one of the best in the world.They got reservation in that.

A 5th std kid in US cant compete with a 3rd std kid in india. I know how much effort they put everyday..morning 8 to 5 school after that tuition.
Its the competition that makes them to work hard.

The poor family cant afford a meal to the kid will atleast send the kid to school for food.

The advantage in India is the free education system with reservation for Muslims.

To me it seems a ruse, something to cling to, to shut out the reality and keep hoping against hope, to keep believing in some higher destiny for themselves and their country when none is apparent, to believe that its a fortress of Islam when the people who brought Islam here think of non-Arab Muslims in not so glowing terms to put it gently.

To equate Pakistan to Islam is to also equate it's many failures to Islam's failures. Pakistan is a country facing many challenges, more internal than external. If there is a divine angle to all this, its visible to none except some of you!

As pakistan being a muslim majority, alcohol is banned for the muslims, but it is not banned for other minorities, alcohol is sold to minorities. Now is this the case with india on eating beef, where muslims ae not allowed to eat beef.
