Mysterious banners urging COAS to take over put up across country

Personal Views

Democratic ideals can't be forced on the people . The acceptance should come from within . Some people and societies work better with a single authoritarian figure in form of Elder , Tribal Chief , King , dIctator . Whereas other work better under Democracy and Republics . Army Rule might be better for Pakistan but keeping past experiences in mind , it will be an uneasy situation for us .

Anyway Army has an indirect influence on Pakistan Politics . At least due to army rule , Pakistan can get an Emperor which they have always missed :sarcastic:

There are a particular set of countries that are not conducive for democracy.
Look at what happened when people tried to force democracy on Iraq.

. .
PMLN is doing it to create a fabricated threat. Govt vehicles have been seen planting these posters.

yar Libyans ko ezat raas nahi aai .. yeh kaho achi kahssi ezat ke rooti mil rahi thi ab dar ba dar ho gaya... and about pakistan ... most of its economic development took place during military tenures. though personally i dont like Musharaf ;)
Libya and Gulf has OIL .. they can prosper under any govt type.

.
COAS should stay and eliminate all bad factors of Pakistan like Politician, bureaucrats, Businessman, judge, Soldiers, Media Persons and other mango Men

If military rule is so good for Pakistan it would still have one, but they tend to overstay their welcome and eventually get thrown out. Look what happened to Musharraf: thrown out by a bunch of lawyers.

Even our dictators are more democratic then our democratic leaders.. Mush had all powers, if he wished he would have kill all lawyers and their Chamcha's and still ruling with Iron fist, but he left without killing anyone, on other hand Nawaz Sharif use power against Tahir ul Qadri and killed his 14 workers in day light in model town lahore..

You forgot Lal masjid.

While I'm not in favor of military rule, but Lal Masjid folks deserved to be killed or put in jail.
Why did they deserve to be killed when the same military subsequently made accord with Talibans in Swat? Mushi never wanted a negotiation but rather a blood bath. And if killing them was justified then, then what's so different today that Lal Masjid stands tall besides Aabpara?

Lets just say that military wanted to expose Faqeer Muhammad. They gave them the peace accord due to the pressure from the public and politicians and once it failed (which was pretty obvious) the military operation followed.

Regarding Lal masjid, these folks were taking over public buildings and threatening foreigners. It caused a diplomatic image problem for the country. Besides, you cannot allow random armed men to harass people that too in the capital.

A-Did military need to expose Faqeer Muhammad? It's just like saying Military will also allow India to capture Azad Kashmir to expose Indian intentions?
So what was different when a mob took over PTV and the same militarymen stood quiet?

How can you forget the times when these Talibs were seen as fellow brothers and military as paid killers killing our biradraan by taking money from the Americans? That's why it was important to expose them.

A national political party which rules 25% of the country protesting and the armed goons taking over a part of the country and executing people are two different things.

They still are the fellow brothers of military, at the "Good Talibans" Mullah Mansoor gets droned inside Pakistan , Zabiullah gets elected inside Pakistan . Mullah Omar's son houses his opposing cabinet inside Pakistan. So the things arent different except for we have now minus TTP formula in place just because they are now on a different payroll.
So are you trying to say that polticial party has more right to challenge the writ of the state than the non-political party? Considering both have similar civilian rights or do you consider others are second grade citizen?

Yaar you are going off topic. I neither have time nor the energies to discuss things in detail while I am on PDF.

All I am saying is that folks at Lal Masjid got what they deserved. And any such act in the future should be dealt with accordingly.

Cheers.
