It's hard to do it, as one ASEAN member did support the rebel of another ASEAN member, too. Plus, it is also a kind of intervention to another people domestic problem. I think that Myanmar Army has enough capability to take care the Rebel. So why do they need other people help? Unless somebody has some ulterior motive to Myanmar.

this is not the first time myanmar attack china. i remember last year there was report about a stray myanmar bomb damaged chinese property.

few days ago they again damaged chinese property. now chinese were killed.

clearly chinese government was very incompetent in this incident. it doesnt matter myanmar is a chinese friendly country. if they violated chinese territory the first time, chinese military should have moved in to protect local chinese and to prevent further attacks. i woyld understand if this is the first time, but this already happened many times.

You should understand why Ukraine decide to ally with west Europe. Because Ukraine want to join in the European market, they can sell goods to Europe, it's beneficial to Ukraine. That's the reason west Ukrainian pro-europe mostly.

Myanmar's situation is totally different. China can provide mutual beneficial economic development to Myanmar. China's economy is still growing at 7.4 percent. If they want to ally with USA, it's not an economic motive. There is a risk China govt attack it like China attack Vietnam after it signed ally with USSR. Otherwise, we can't find the reasonable motive Myanmar want to ally with USA. China never try to prevent Myanmar establishing economic relations with America.

See its a very simple question: Myanmar dares do this, why does Vietnam or India not dare do this? Why does Japan not dare do this? What I meant to say, so far Myanmar is not American ally so we still need to give patience to them and treat them peacefully. If only Myanmar has determined to ally with America like what Ukraine done and put it into action, we will consider them roughly.
