What's new

My son got rejected in ISSB says PAF chief Sohail Aman

. . . .
Aur nawaz sharif ka pora tabar adjust kiya hoya hy govt mein

nawaz has been lucky this time..

in 1990s there was no difference in growth rate between PPPP and PML N
this time nawaz shaib is welcomed with lowest oil prices in decades alonng with Chinese push of investment all over the world(e.g over 30 billion dollars in bangladesh, similar amount in srilanka and around 50 billion in Pakistan) and despite all this GDP improved from 3.8 to 5.2

this at the cost of 33% increase in foreign debt, the highest any govt is taken, the highest all the PPPP govt have taken combined(increased from 58 to 79 billion dollars) and what the govt did was to make numbers better, highest dishonesty first it put the amount it paid out to IPPs in PPPP basket(in its first year) than it takes the same amount of loan again(IPPs receivable now all time high) than it changes the definition of debt from actual debt to debt-govt reserves. all along unable to solve power problem despite all time low gas prices(a luxury PPPP didnt had otherwise like the 90s it would have solved this problem too)

current judegment changes nothing, it would help PPPP a bit more but nawaz and PPPP duo team are going to stay because most of educated people of Pakistan supports either one of them

I actually doubt the 5.2 figure they were caught making numbers up but you are right low oil prices helped them a lot

Their tenure has the distinction of being the only tenure in which agri production fell you just cant make this up they are a complete failure but their media team just loves to portray a false image

Sadly you are right on many factors BUT with strong cases of forgery and money laundering against the sharif family it would be very difficult for them to keep the party intact while in jail

@Zarvan bhai Nawaz sharif to gaya, ab konsa jet ayega EFT ya Su-35?(as u said that nawaz was forcing on Su-35).

or kya new PM Shahbaz military ko speedup karyga?

what i am saying that assuming all figures are true even than the govt performance has been same or worse when it comes to statistical analysis adjusting for oil prices, in other words relatively speaking there has been no difference in our growth when comparing it to the rest of the region/south asia

there has been some increase in investor confidence because PML N accepted IMF directives and austerity measures that mainly affected the poor and effectively killed our export industry and hence a drop of 20% in exports since PML N took power despite available power

as IMF/WB/AB have been saying all along govt is not doing any reforms and might miss this opportunity and end up in another crisis

what i am seeing is chinese push in foreign investment(in all south asian countries), couple with acceptance of IMF loans which opened the loans from WB/AB and private investment in gas plants due to low gas prices(3X less). this summarize all the positives.

pakistan-gdp-growth@2x.png
thus we had a 33% increase in our loans and 1% increase in our GDP growth

of note 2009-10 was massive flood year

During my time at ISSB there was a guy who totally got famous as SHE during the 5 day tenure. SHE was a nothing more than a shemale. His body movements were totally inappropriate. Wasn't even fit to be called a male while before every test he was like ' (Bending his hands upside down) Yawwrr Yawrrr Kesy hoga ye? It seems soo difficult Yawr'

During the Command Task he clearly said in front of GTO "Yawwrr this is so high how can I do it??" All of us had had our jaws dropped. Since we all knew that even a slight hesitation during the task if GTO notices. You're out in future. But all this doesn't apply for certain people. Living in the same Cantonment Area. That son of a Military Personnel was recommended. I was totally out of my mind for a couple of days. Like we all knew there is something called PAWWA in ISSB but this was a whole different level. At that time I got to know that this so-called OLQs (Officer Like Quality) theory is all crap. Nothing more than a confusing state for a candidate who doesn't get recommended and thinks whether hes not psychologically fit. There were 16 Candidates who had their father in the Military. Amazingly all of them were recommended.

There can be two reasons behind his rejection. Whether he had been totally not willing to join. Which many of exhausted candidates confess during their interview with the Psych. Or the Air Chief did not personally use his sources at all which I totally appreciate.

Than people ask why Pakistanis love their armed forces so much?

Because that's what we all got. Military Personnel are less corrupt than Politicians. Excluding Generals. They're the Father of everything.

Made up story.
I also heard about this fake story during my ISSb tests. My two friends who were very passionate to join forces and both are sons of Major Generals failed to join military.

Yup it happens. Knew a guy who wanted to join PAF but didn't pass ISSB twice, even though they told him he failed the physical....he was a tennis player for his university in the US. Went back to the US, started flying Hornets for the Marines.

Oh wow. Sounds we have high standards of selection compared to US. Amazing.

Yet the screening in the US (Flying Hornets in the Marines means you have to go through 8 months of grunt training, followed by officer's course and then flight training to eventually take off and land from carriers before reaching Hornets.) is very tough compared to Pakistan. All I'm saying that you can try your best there, be the best candidate and it is all up to the mood of the selection officer if they see you fit for service.
