MY India Tour pics

Hey Jana, could anybody knew about your nationality at monument site that you have visited?

Well most of the people considered me as Kashmiri there :)

But guess what the organisers of the visit to the monument shown me as foreigners due to my complexion as well as those from Afghanistan while all others from Nepal, BD, Sri Lanka etc were shown as Indians to save the ticket money :P as there is low fee for locals.

While in the markets the South Indians though did not know my nationality but they immediately noticed that i was not from South so before i could open my mouth for speaking they would start speaking to me in English and interestingly the shopkeepers would try to mint more money considering me an alien but i knew how bargain :D

And at some shops I told the shopkeepers that I was a Pakistani. I bought helmet at one shop when the shopkeeper came to know that I was a Pakistani, he packed the helmet nicely and put his shop tag on it and told me to show it in Pakistan that it was from India.

I guess, you have affinity with India which is quite indicating from your visit to India.
:) yeh indeed because there are a lot of things in India which belong to Pakistan.
To begin with Lal Qilla (Red Fort )

there is very intresting story about this site. A person called Bagirat ( dear indians if i spell it worngly kindly check and correct) prayed to god for many many years while standing on one leg to break the curse after which the god blessed with water.

(if you can see a thin man standing on one leg in right side)

Not surprising. Few people in South India can speak good Hindi. So the moment they suspect that you are not from the south they immediately switch to English.

A helmet is a really curious choice for a souvenir. :what:

Yeah right! Nice joke. Don't you want to include the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, India Gate etc. and while you are at it even the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament building. :disagree:

BTW were you in Chennai for the entire duration?

No one speaks hindi in South.

And they start speaking to me in English due to my complexion not due to the language .

Atleast Jana's returning safely shows not all pakistani get tortured and killed in India. On a lighter side jana are you missing any organs.
Regards

Precautionary measures before going to India my dear. Though at entry point there one of the immigration person tried to play some cards but I guess I am smart enough to deal some elements like him.
Otherwise I would have ended up in the jail in India or would have lost some organ
