-No good education means no job, govt. or private.

-And no jobs means no education for the children...and that leads to no jobs for them being uneducated or poorly educated, so this keeps going on and on, and on and on.

And with about 200 plus Muslims living a marginalized life means India HDI will always be lower even with per capita increasing. Add to them millions of Dalits(300 million plus), the human development figures will always be lopsided in India.

As PM IK has once said, it is the living conditions of the minorities which gives a correct image about the caring and inclusive nature of the society and country at large, happy minorities means a happy/civilized country/welfare oriented...and then he emphasized about the care for minorities here in Pakistan which is not that good...improving now.

If you don't believe me, ask Owaisi, Zakir Naik, Maulana Madni. No one want to migrate to Pakistan. You can ask my Indian friend @jamahir , being an Indian Muslim if he want to migrate to Pakistan or not due to what you have written in your post.

By your post it is clear what is your definition of "normality". It sounds a bit like the british longing for the "good old days". (Yeah, I know you are of pakistani origin).

But I am happy to tell you that those "good old days" are never coming back.

It gets worse.

As India gets more powerful, and starts to assert itself more, you are going to be more disappointed.

You will be forced to acknowledge ALL the evils of the past done in the name of your religion and your 'race' or 'culture'. You will be forced to accommodate and be more RESPECTFUL of Hindus and their practices. Be more accommodating of Hindu practices and your ability to mock Hindus is going to reduce with every passing day.

You will soon find that just being "tolerant" is not good enough, that you will actually have to give respect to get some back.

I can see how painful and discomforting it is going to be and I am going to enjoy every bit of it.

Well sir, it is a complex question. I don't hate Pakistan and I know that there are sensible people there too as was also said some years ago by the Kannada films actress Ramya who had gone on a trip to Pakistan. There are active progressives in Pakistan like Arooj Aurangzeb, Salman Haider, Nadeem Paracha and the Laal music band. If I ever go to Pakistan on a trip I would dearly like to meet them.

I am not an admirer of Zakir Naik and Owaisi. Owaisi has regressive people like Abu Faisal in his AIMIM party and does not really address the larger issues of injustices in India including about Muslims. I will speak of that stage in Bangalore on which the young woman progressive activist Amulya Leona called out the names of South Asian countries and said "Zindabad" for each of them. She was soon surrounded by the organizers and led away by the police. Owaisi was standing close by and he refused to help that girl. This is an article from June about this issue.

As for your question if I want to migrate to Pakistan, what I wish to do is stay in India and contribute to bringing the same direct democracy socialism political system to govern both the countries. I have written in this thread from May 2020 as to how that can be done. A solution for Kashmir and for the general issue of India and Pakistan.

I don't think some of those comments were meant for me, but i'l give my take on the topic.

I think people get carried away with the Muslim pakistan and Hindu india story a bit too much. There was a brief period of ideological passions, which drove religious groups towards new lands.

But, it needs to be remembered most Pakistanis are ethnic owners of their land, that land wasn't owned by some imagined India.

Similarly, Indians are ethnic owners of their land, Indians includes Indian Muslims, they are happy and proud of their country, because it is their land, ethnic owners, not some guests. Marriages happen across the border among Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs, i don't know about Christians.

But, its fool Hardy to think things are normal in India, its such an obvious fact, i never fail to be shocked each time it is denied.

How so? Indians (both Hindus and Muslims) roam the same streets, work in the same company and hang out as friends. Religious choices are different and are limited to your own homes. Hence hence the otherness shown here.

But It doesn't even mean separation of locality. For example, I have in my apartment 4 muslim owned flats out of 20. Obviously they wouldn't mind renting it to Muslims and we won't have objection to their choice. As far as the other 16 owners are concerned, some might consider Muslim tenants others won't. Obviously beef eating plays a significant role here.

The complaint in the OP seem to be about her want for good looking apartment, hence my suggestion for muslims to improve their own locality. Ghettoism should make way for modern infrastructure.

Are muslims not killed in your country even if they think of eating beef? Yet you are claiming they eat beef.....i am fairly certain you would be first in line breaking into these supposed 4 muslim flats dragging them out and lynching them...

Don't bore me. India had 67 lynching incidents between 2010-2017 (7 years). Majority of incidents happened in rural India. India has over 200 million muslims. More muslims die of lightening strike in India than this. More muslims die of sectarian violence in Pakistan than this. So India is fine. Thank you.
