'Muslims From Pakistan, Bangladesh Should Be Thrown Out Of Country', Says Shiv Sena In Saamana

.
Interesting thread but full of misinformation....

And during this all Bharatis would sit and watch.

Bharatis really can't do much if our rate of GDP per capita increase is higher than theirs. They have too much bureaucratic red tape due to federal/state arrangement, not enough dynamic pace of governance and backdated mentality for many areas of govt. Plus HDI and several other indicators lower than ours. Not to say there aren't great things happening in India, but overall trends do not lie.

We separated BD in 10 days so...it's ok to dream about Assam and Bengal.

You separated Bangladesh because we did the hard work in eight months of fighting prior. When you arrived, Pak Army was already decimated to its core and then you drive in and take credit because we assisted you. False narrative always floated in India because we don't say enough in Bangladesh to correct this.

East Pakistan was a backward/poor backwater shi1hole land with very few resources and industries. It was sapping all our economic resources even though Ayub did start industrial/infrastructure work over there. But it still was not enough.

East Pakistan was a much larger contributor than West Pakistan to Pakistan's economy even back then. Why say incorrect things without research?

@jamahir is not Pakistani.

He is probably a Bangladeshi or a Nepali or a Bhutanese

Prove it to the Indian government. He won't survive swimming from Deccan plateau to Dhaka

Whomever he is, @jamahir Bhai is welcome as a neighbor of mine in Bangladesh at any time.

Bangladesh is still poor but it's making progress and in 1971 they were 70 millions, while rest whole combined was 50 million on top of that they flushed a lot of population out.

There are almost no Bangladeshi illegals in India. The whole narrative is a lie meant to politicize the base for Sanghis and a vote-getter against Congressis. If Sanghis f*ck up their economy by themselves, it is always better to find a scapegoat and point fingers.

Doesn't matter,Hindus planned well and got victory much like Muslims did in past.
Will correct you again. Indians planned well and got victory. In the 21st century and as years go by, religion is going to be more and more insignificant in the world. Religion is already losing its significance right now.
Cultural, linguistic and nationalist narrative will dominate as years go by. Even that would be replaced by something else that we don't know.

You guys wouldn't have got freedom without India most probably. And if Pakistan would have become nuclear early, India wouldn't have risked doing anything in East Pakistan. East and West Pakistan would have remained together. You always need outside countries to help your independence cause.

'Muslims From Pakistan, Bangladesh Should Be Thrown Out Of Country', Says Shiv Sena In Saamana

Shiv Sena made the statement in the wake of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray's remarks that his party would carry out a big morcha on February 9 in Mumbai in opposition to those who oppose the CAA and NRC.

Mumbai: Amid the ongoing nationwide protests against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the proposed National Register of Citizens (NRC), Shiv Sena on Saturday made a stringent statement saying that Muslims from Bangladesh and Pakistan must be thrown out of the country. “Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslims who have entered the country should be thrown out, there is no doubt about it”, Sena wrote in an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana.

Sena, however, maintained that the amended citizenship law has loopholes that need to be addressed. The party made the statement in the wake of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray's remarks that his party would carry out a big morcha on February 9 in Mumbai in opposition to those who oppose the CAA and NRC.

In its mouthpiece, the party attacked Raj Thackeray for his change of stand with respect to the Citizenship Law and his shift towards Hindutva. "Yesterday, the MNS said that they support the CAA. However, just a month back, they were against this act," Sena said.

"Our party has never given up its ideology of Hindutva and also worked for Marathi people. This is the reason why people in the state have accepted us," the party added. The Sena also questioned whether Thackeray's change of stand will be accepted by the people or not.

"Some people use the name of Hindutva for their benefit, but even if some party does that we have the large heart to accept them. Go ahead if possible," the party added further.

"14 years back Raj Thackeray formed a party for the Marathi ideology but now it has changed its track to Hindutva. When Raj Thackeray during his speech said welcome my Hindu brothers and sisters it was demanded by BJP. MNS could not get anything and now also it cannot get anything," Sena said accusing the MNS chief of making Hindutva his prime agenda.

In December last year, Raj Thackeray had said that the illegal immigrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh should be thrown out of the country irrespective of their religion. He had said that the Citizenship (Amendment) Act is uncalled for as it will increase the burden on India which is allegedly not able to cater to the needs of its own people.

Further, Sena also slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for stalling development in Maharashtra when it was in power. "Things which BJP could not do it in five years, the Maha Vikas Aghadi did it in 50 days. They can form a government with Mehbooba Mufti, but here we can't form a government with Congress and NCP. We are in government for the Common Minimum Program. For the betterment of Maharashtra," it said.

Sena, earlier this week, also said there have been attempts to muzzle dissenting voices and this is one of the reasons for India slipping in the 2019 Democracy Index's global ranking. The editorial mouthpiece of Sena said a slowdown in economy gives rise to unrest and instability, and this was getting reflected in the prevailing situation in the country.

The incumbent Maharashtra government is ruled by Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in alliance with Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party and Congress.

There are about 3 million in Pakistan.

That's why few weeks ago Bharat passed a new citizen bill based upon religion alone.

no buddy then you would be left with do number hindu maasi like marvi sarmad for chapatis ..
Maasis like marvi sarmad will be alive again and back in business.

In my view, the said conflict is almost indispensable and unavoidable. It is currently simmering, but both countries are trying to keep it under carpet, though it is quite palpable. It would take sometime to fully bloom. Again, it would be consequence of the same distorted perception of elite Hindus, arising out of their misreading of history and its undue translation to the current affairs.

Thats why i say we should start warning india of consequences before hand..start fencing the IB and make emergency plans if needed to annex indian territory to setup refugee camps.
