Muslims clash with China police who destroyed mosque

Explain....

Briefly, the French law against headscarfs in schools is written with deliberate loopholes. It only forbids 'conspicuous' religious symbols, not 'all' religious symbols. This means that typical Christian symbols like small pendants with cross are allowed, whereas typical Muslim symbols like headscarves are forbidden.

How is that discriminatory? All "conspicuous religious symbols" is a pretty clear term, aint it? They dont want any conspicuous religious symbols displayed. Period. Head scarves are NOT Muslim symbols, no? You should know this. Why is that discriminatory? They arent stopping from wearing a Taveez/Talisman/Amulets, no? And its their country, their laws.

Explain....

in communism everybody is opressed and nobody is free....for example in north korea nobody can speak against kim jong tull..

but in west only muslims cant speak against government or they go to jail charged with terrorism.....the rest of the people are free to abuse whoever they want....

so there is the difference.

Indian reminds me one of my classmates (a brat) back in high school... She was so bad at academics be it math, reading or science, and the worse part was that she had awful personality, yet she always pointing fingers at others. So we nomally ignore her and laugh at her

They remind me of much worse, can't share that story here.

That was in reference to your comment about Indians asking Muslims to follow the rule of the land. Indians make that argument about migrants(muslims or otherwise) to follow the rule of land.

Some Indians (and others) make that admonition even about, for example, British-born Muslims who don't 'assimilate'. In any case, this is a secondary matter.

This charade of caring about Indian Muslims because of Islamic Ummah, is morally wrong. Cause if there was such a thing as Islamic brotherhood you lots would worry about and get worked up just as much about this incident in China too.

You fundamentally misunderstand the concern. The reason for Pakistanis criticizing India's treatment of Muslims is not because of any ummah concept, but simply because many Pakistanis have family/friends in India who might be impacted by the issues. It is a concern based on relationships, not ummah.

Yes, and I have stated that that is also wrong. The state should not be dictating these things.

It is discriminatory because the French mantra is that religion does not belong in state institutions. It doesn't say anything about 'hiding' or being 'inconspicuous'. All religion must be excluded.

Then they come along and deliberately insert the word 'conspicuous' in their law. If they were true to their secular mantra, the law would be simple: 'no religious symbols in schools'. Why add the exta word 'conspicuous' which only makes the law ambiguous and open to interpretation? The reason, of course, is that it now allows these cross pendants to be worn in schools.

And the law is aimed at Muslim girls because, for centuries, Jewish men wore yarmulkas to schools and nobody had a problem. As soon as Muslim girls showed up with their headscarf, the French went apeshit and enacted this law.

the difference is she was pointing at other good classmates,we indians are pointing at hypocrits

and the apology of the pakistanis towards chiense continues..

now also do they allow yarmulkhas ?,,if not then i see no reason for your crying that only muslims are discriminated....

btw it does no take rocket science to figure out that even though they are politically secular, the root of the european countries lies in judeo-christian values...

lol is it anybody's problem that only muslims wear conspicous symbols..?

Would wearing a dot on your head be considered conspicous or inconspicous?

I didn't know that being secular was go to the depths of shallowness and judge people on their outer appearance.
