Muslims, Christians sons of Ram, those who don't believe it should leave India: BJP minister

He did not speak extempore, that firstpost article is wrong and no Australian newspaper said that, if they did you would have linked it by now. He spoke from a written speech which was also distributed to the members. No one speaks extempore while addressing a parliament in a foreign country. Some read from a paper some use teleprompters, get over it.

\How Narendra Modi turned Parliament House into a rock star's stage

"Maybe this is Prime Minister Abbott's way of shirtfronting you," he suggested with the hint of a wink.

It wasn't even the fact that – although he had an autocue – he appeared not to be speaking from prepared notes. He was eyes up all the way through.

It was because as soon as Modi got stuck into the substance of his address, he had the normally rowdy House of Representatives hypnotised.

There, you got the link you were looking for. He did speak extempore.

Let me put it this way. If this lady was as educated as them she wouldn't be making this offensive haramzade comment. If you think education has no role in general character building and intellectual upbringing then I have nothing else to say to you.

You do not seem updated. Parrikar was in news not long ago for supposedly making an insenstive remark about rape.
Manohar Parrikar says rape comments misquoted, seeks ban on drinking in public : India, News - India Today

Likewise, Fadnavis has many many police cases against him. Wonder if that did not have something to do with the hyperimaginative secular press and a Islam appeasing congress govt.

I do think education has a big role in general character building, but I do not think our education system the way it is has ever imparted character to anyone ever.

We obviously disagree. I don't think anyone is "comfortable" with Modi, he is just not that type of a chap. He didn't care too much for the RSS in Gujarat, unlikely he is much changed. His majority is going nowhere and for now has concentrated on gaining complete control of the BJP. We'll just have to wait & see. As long as the economy is having a good run, Modi is unlikely to allow distractions.

Dude, he became CM of Gujarat ONLY BECAUSE OF RSS. He rioted primarily to please RSS. What weird things are you saying man? After the Riots ABVP had made up his mind to get Modi sacked, it was the RSS that intervened and stopped him.

he became cm due to RSS . may be ..
riots to please RSS.. far fethc argument..
ABVP .. wanted sack him . yes.. for which dharma.. Raj dharma... the duty of governance.. and he was right too..
modi as CM could have control it better way..
but same goes in for all CMs ..
he cant be treated as SOLE riot repsobile man but same time also had duty to manage it effectively which he lacked by some degree.. but its scenrios always thnk are out of our hands...
--
its people of gujrat which had to decided what he did was right or wrong which they gave reply in ballot
its judiciary of india to decided whether gujart cm and gov did not obey RAJ DHARMA ..theya re accountbale for that partly yes but cant be gulity of that

As I said, we disagree. He probably had little control of the government machinery in Gujarat when the riots happened. Togadia was pretty much the boss (even without any position). Modi took help from wherever he got but he is pretty much his own man he didn't much care for the RSS and its sister organisations once he established his hold on power. Maybe you should read up on how he hauled up Togadia's key buddies on sedition charges & had the RSS's blue eyed boy, Sanjay Joshi checkmated with a video tape. Advani was the one who stopped Vajpayee from sacking him but that didn't stop Modi from marginalising him either. This guy is as ruthless a power player as they come. He isn't about to share it with anyone easily. The RSS knows that which is why they tread warily.

Modi allowed the RSS to call the shots during the UP by elections precisely because he wanted to prove a point to those who kep harping that the 2014 win was a group victory. He stayed away and let the RSS backed people run it. After it failed spectacularly, he took control of the Maharashtra & Haryana campaigns and went against the RSS in breaking ties with the Shiv Sena. He is not like other BJP politicians, he will use the RSS only till it suits him and no longer.

P.S. my last post on this sub topic. Feel free to disagree.

@Oscar

IF BJP wants to come back in power in 2019 it will focus only on development

The 10 years in opposition that BJP spent from 2004 to 2014 have
made them realise what the country wants

It only wants development

The governments that do not perform or spend their time and energy
on useless matters get voted out

Ehhhh no. he was a complete nobody from Delhi who hadn't even become an MLA in his lifetime. He was an RSS man who was loaned to BJP to manage the crisis that Keshubhai Patel had created. When he came to power he 'repaid' by showing himself more loyal to Hindus than anyone else.

The supreme consciousness is the creator of everything, so no question that principles of karma were created by this intelligence too. This cosmic consciousness though does not interfere in this system and this motion it has set in place.

So, from this. The Divine being.. the force of the cosmos.. which has created the cosmos and the cosmos "runs off" it as well has then created these various laws of prakiti and Karma.

So if one was to take some sort of analogy.. If there was a computer, whose architecture is the laws of the cosmos and Karma and so forth. Upon which you have the various entities of Prakiti running.. galaxies, stars.. planets, life itself as programs and functions within programs so on..all which will be computed a certain way the architecture.. which in itself then just like any computer has its clock cycles(with time references changing for each) that complete and the program repeats itself albiet with new variables(but same functions). This computer then runs on power from the cosmic being.. or rather the cosmic being is the power supply.

Close?

Yeah, close enough. The cosmic being is both the power supplier as well as the computer itself. It is also that which is not the computer and that which contains both the computer as well as that which is not the computer.

So at the end, this is core being.. the final "god" so to speak to ask about. So while you say Ram, at the end it is implied the cosmic being?

The final god/cosmic intelligence is Brahaman. Ram is considered to be the incarnate of this cosmic consciousness as per the Vaishanva traditions in Hinduism. For the Vaishnavas,Vishnu (the preserver aspect of the trinity) is the supreme lord and Ram his incarnation. The Shaivas would hold Shiva to be their Supreme lord.

In a nutshell yes. Ram, Krshna' or Vishnu or Bhagwan etc, these at the end imply the cosmic being

'Rama' is just a name....in sanatan dharma, that being is the same. All the others are 'manifestations' (Avatars) of this being. Though not in the ramayan, many others this is clearly mentioned...like Krishna is a manifestation descended upon the earth to uproot evil (of Kauravas). Mahabali is a similar Avatar.

Thank you.

This little info talk only reaffirms by idea that "Allah tero naam, Ishwar tero naam". There was a reason for the success of sufism in India.

That's why Gandhi always used to say all religions say the same thing. I of course think all relegions need to be banned...but that's a different debate for a different thread :enjoy:

Well, that is possibly because they all point to the same origin and same message.. and all you have is the repetition of the same message through history.
