2. You must feel the pain - buying a animal just a day or two before the Eid and sacrificing it wont give you pain. as you have not reared the animal and have not forged any sort of bonding with it.

From what Muslims in other parts of the country have said, it was one of your leading prophets (I guess it was the prophet Abraham or Ishmael.. don't remember) who was asked by god to sacrifice his son as an example to prove infinite devotion to god. When he passed his test of ultimate devotion to god, god replaced his son with the goat and the goat was sacrificed instead.

Where does that tell you that god would order the killing of a goat?

How is drinking something, as long is it's not human or animal blood and worshipping a god be it a stone idol of that god or an imaginary Allah uncivilised ? A lot of much worse things in Islam but I don't want to make it a pissing contest.

We worship stone idols of our gods or the lingam of a certain god, you worship Allah who no one has ever seen. Both are imaginary belief systems. Nothing uncivilised about both.

Animal sacrifice was removed from Hinduism since 500 BC. Shankaracharya replaced it with vegetables and coconuts.

In the few places it remains, its because of political reason, not religious.

Hindus offer their Hair as sacrifice by shaving it. Its a living part of you (since it grows) and by shaving your head you also offer your ego as sacrifice.

My friend if all were afraid, more would be giving up Qurbani not just a small group of RSS affiliated Muslims who have done it voluntarily. period.

As for the incident in Haryana, it is not been confirmed yet that the beef issue was the motive.

Your narrative of the life of the average Muslim in India and the fear they live with falls flat on its face considering the fact the majority Indian Muslims stayed in India after partition and continue to stay here till date. Indian Muslims would be flocking to Pakistan and Bangladesh borders if their everyday lives were so full of fear.
