Its GOD who prohibited these things their are clear rules and those come up with excuse which you are coming up with is just another way of justifying Haram

Then please go ahead and carry out God's will. See if you aren't remembered as a man of genocide and not a man of God.
What goes on between you and your God is none of my concern, what goes on between my and mine, is most certainly none of your concern.

God has indeed instructed us to dress modestly, but anytime I say something like this, I fear saying it in absolute, lest I misquote or misrepresent his teachings. Yet, most such as you, have no issue whatsoever. At any rate, so if it is haram, and she refuses to comply and dress more modestly, for whatever reason...

What do you propose should happen?

pakistan has a stock exchange, so does saudia, so does malaysia... i don't see @Zarvan or the malaysian cleric condemn those.

Plenty of things, only we like to get upset about petty issues directed mostly at others.

What right syed Ali got to make comments about that girls personal choices...you don't mind calling others names but when we point it out you get angry..her life her choice..who knows she may not be even a practising Muslim..who the hell are you to decide what she has to wear, eat,go etc etc...this type of attitude takes many youngsters away from your religion..anyway when you are dishing it out to someone, prepared to take it too.

@Gufi why did you give him a negative rating?? i don't see anything wrong in his words.

well she has a point, even this dude is not properly observing purdah

It's okay, there's nothing there for us to feel guilty at for staring about, the condemnation if it were universal I'd support it.

Here I've asked members just how many things in this world are not according to Islamic teachings but are indeed a norm, and explain our hypocrisy, yet here is just one example of a male swimmer, most can't answer this, let alone all the wrong in the world.

Islamic State can decide may be few lashes but as their would be Islamic state she won't be allowed to do this crap in first place. But if she manages to break law than in every part of the world breaking law has punishment.

Then, please kill us all and be done with it.

We will remember you as a man of genocide, not of God.

Where's the condemnation then? Why is it this thread is about the female and no mention of males until now after someone has challenged you?

And it doesn't matter ALLAH decided these matters you break the law and governments also not enforce them it creates space for rogue militants

may i point out that we south asian muslims ( except in afghanistan for two decades ) have allowed the mullahs to become seen as adepts of islam, whereas in west asia and africa, it is the opposite... which is why south asia still suffers from mullahs while west asia and africa had long periods without mullahs in power.

They are way apart

how??

Well I didn't read the complete thread

So because there are lots of things that are not happening according to Islamic teachings, we must ignore them for if we don't, we are hypocrite. Well, than we should have no problem with homosexuals, incest, extra-marital relations and God-forbidden if one day I get to learn that my kids are getting involved into those immoral however 'normal' practices, I would not say a word because I don't want to be declared a hypocrite. Good going my friend. Keep it up.

Why a man has to do that wearing shorts and a woman wearing a leotard ?

Sorry, I decline to measure how many millimeters further before we get to see her crotch.
I find it difficult to believe that you actually engaged in any athletic activities.

Look at all the women long distance runners. Do an image search for them. Do you think those women wear those skimpy shorts or bikini bottoms for sex appeal ? No, they wear them for practical reasons: less body covering means more body movements.

Men wrestlers and weight lifters wear body leotards. See if you can figure out why.

The irony is delicious. Men like you comment that body leotards on women athletes are sexualizing the women but the reality is that body leotards are for modesty, not for sex appeal. If it was up to the athletes, ALL of them would compete bare @$$ nekkid.
