And it doesn't matter ALLAH decided these matters you break the law and governments also not enforce them it creates space for rogue militants
Please move to Islamic State, I'm sure they're the least morally bankrupt chasm on earth.
Plenty of unIslamic things have also been done in the name of Islam by rogue elements and states.
So because there are lots of things that are not happening according to Islamic teachings, we must ignore them for if we don't, we are hypocrite. Well, than we should have no problem with homosexuals, incest, extra-marital relations and God-forbidden if one day I get to learn that my kids are getting involved into those immoral however 'normal' practices, I would not say a word because I don't want to be declared a hypocrite. Good going my friend. Keep it up.
Govern your children the way you want to, have your say the way you want to, if you criticise someone, expect it back.
Don't put words in my mouth either.
Islamic teachings are one thing an individual can aspire to, if you are going to force them upon others, then please be prepared for others to force them back upon you, in such a system, you'd need a literalist religious and social society.
I find it difficult to believe that you actually engaged in any athletic activities.
Look at all the women long distance runners. Do an image search for them. Do you think those women wear those skimpy shorts or bikini bottoms for sex appeal ? No, they wear them for practical reasons: less body covering means more body movements.
Men wrestlers and weight lifters wear body leotards. See if you can figure out why.
The irony is delicious. Men like you comment that body leotards on women athletes are sexualizing the women but the reality is that body leotards are for modesty, not for sex appeal. If it was up to the athletes, ALL of them would compete bare @$$ nekkid.
There are very practical reasons for the way they dress, which is also what I said earlier. In gymnastics, it two fold, both for judging purposes and ease during athletics.
Maybe this lady is not even a practicing Muslim, but the criticism is expected, what would be too far is if she's shamed out of a job for something like this.
