Why not try to answer the question that was posed......what percentage of the indian officers are muslim if compared to the percentage of muslims in india?

Also why is it that the sikhs have a regiment but the muslims dont.

Sikh Regiment was created by the British who deemed the Sikhs as one of the martial races (however flawed that theory might be). Indian Army has just continued with that.

PS: Indian army is an all voluntary force...meaning anybody who wishes to serve the nation can join the army. If there is low representation of Muslims in the army, its not the fault of the GOI policy but a personal choice based on individual decisions....

Besides your lot shouldnt be talking about disproportionate distribution of resources or else the Punjabi domination phenomenon in your country can be questioned.

Religion and tribe based regiments were the creation of British Indian Army.
Example: Sikh regiment, mahar regiment, dogra regiment, gurkha regiments etc.

British thought some tribes are better in fighting than others( ie martial race)

New formations created by Indian Army has place names not religion or tribe names.

I was reading the wiki link and it says "A 'martial race' was typically considered brave and well built for fighting." but then I see the list and see that Bengali,Bhumihar and Nairs were removed because they rebelled?..what the hell.

Well, martial race is discredited theory.
Be it british theory, german theory or 1 pakistani = 4 indian theory.
