How you know PM was not informed ? ... it was all briefed and gave reason why Kargil was necessary .. so please leave it , don't want to discuss the Kargil operation. You will never know the reality. You can only get the truth those who were involve in this operation.

When NS was briefed, Musharraf failed to inform him of the reality that they’d crossed the LoC many km into Indian controlled territory. And he dug his own grave by not planning and war gaming India’s response correctly.

He may lie as much as he wants, in the end, it was him and his comrades that urged the government to seek American intervention because the situation was getting out of hand and beyond their control.

He removed the government, imprisoned the PM and any judge that opposed him, and any judge that did not renounce their constitutional oath and back him was also dealt with. In this he also broke his own member of armed forces oath. The coup was done to save his own skin.

And under the constitution, high treason is punishable by death or life imprisonment.

That's just sad, you have no knowledge of the operation you are trying to defend against. Read some books, please. Also talk to some veterans of the Kargil war. While you are at it, do talk to the Air Force chaps.

Gen Musharraf did high treason "as per court" got death sentence but what about Nawaz Sharief a convicted criminal now enjoying good time in London?

Case against Gen Bajwa extension and now sentencing and ailing patriot rtd General tell us how much $$$$ judiciary getting from outside.....

Well nawaz was disqualified by court and facing trails. He along with his daughter came Pakistan to face trial unlike commando mushy ..its first time court gave any decision against a military dictator which is a good sign for independent judiciary..no one should be above laws whether military or civilians..punish all those who committed crimes whther politicians or ex military personnel

Do you know there was Ambassadors meeting chaired by COAS and Nawaz , about Kargil operation briefing. ? . American intervene when Indian PM ask Clinton to resolve this issue. India was already lost the game.

If I do not owner the oath I take when I get commissioned in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, I should be hanged for treason, and also for dishonour.

Corrupt generals also dont honor the oath, should they be hanged as well?
The hanging thing is not a childs play, it comes when there is a treason in regards to state not the constitution.Like what happened with Brig. Rizwan. Judiciary alone can not decide state treason.Constitutions change with time,only an Army court can order hanging for a treason committed by a serving general not a civilian court.
