China is a power, but not a superpower, the USA need not worry, she can keep her throne intact for a decade or so.

It will probably take much longer than a decade.

Being the largest economy, does not make one a superpower.

Being a superpower, means being able to "project power worldwide". China can do this economically, but NOT in terms of military or diplomatic power.

Even Russia still has far more diplomatic influence than China does. Even Britain can beat us on power projection (we still don't even have a carrier).

I wouldn't worry about China becoming a "superpower"... I don't think anyone in China really cares about global power projection.
