I am in a dilemma!
Mufti Sahib is known to be a Wahhabi sect follower and he is one of the most known personality and above all an Aalim.
On the other side we can see people like Lal Masjid Clerics and more who are radicalising the youth for some vested interest.

Mufti Sahib is not wahabi.
He is a true Sunni Muslim;

The respected Mufti's sermon here is the archetypal example of its kind that is important to understand. After all, he says that because Pakistan has a Constitution that forces Islam into everything, no dissenting opinions can be allowed. To do so would be against Islam itself, and hence not permissible. Interestingly enough, such a view that makes dissent impossible serves the establishment well. How convenient!

Mufti Sahab is deobandi.

Deobandis are sunnis, just as barelvis are.

The deobandis played an important role in the Pakistan Movement.

Here is some of their contribution mentioned in a lecture by Mufti Rafi Usmani

Well, Mulvi know how to twist and make the statement in his own favor.....

How they twist what they say depends on who is paying them, quite often. Their views are often molded by the highest bidders or strongest coercers.

People like me always disregards their views, because of their idealism with perfectionism . Which is million miles away from real world.

The ilk of 'pious' muftis actually own Pakistan for the reason it was created in the name of religion although going against the elders who opposed. Goes back to what you say, the demand and supply strategy.

Well Deobundi is a sect which actually follow Wahhabism in their teachings that's widely known.

And regarding their role in Pakistan movement should mentioned by neutral source not by same Deobundi sect.

I don't want to discuss it further.

You should not make claims about Deoband if you are not affiliated with it.

Deobandi scholars have issued statements against wahhabism from ever since wahhabism was born.

It has been explain so many times already. There is no such thing as wahabism.

It was created by British to divide the Muslims in Indian. People need to read the history before making these kind of statements.

Wahaabism is used as a gali for those who don't agree with you. For example, he does not believe in grave worship.., he must be a wahabi.
It's like calling a black person "nigger".

So what is wahabism? Please enlighten us.
What fiqh they follow?

Sorry boss I already had my warnings and I don't want another one so please do your own home work and please don't go in denial mode without knowing. I don't want to discuss further and I am not going to reply further. If there's anything makes you feel offending I humbly apologize not for I am wrong but don't want to hurt any ones sentiments.

Your tawba would be more sincere if you went back and deleted your original troll post. Would you like me to mention the antecedents of your sect? You do realize that 99% of all Pashtuns are Deobandis and that there wouldn't be a Pakistan let alone 1/3 of Kashmir if the Deobandis had decided against it? If you have such a massive problem with Pashtuns and their beliefs, saddle up your horse son and head back to Mongolia, your homeland.

I look forward to members of your religious sect displaying this honesty while calling Saudi Arabians and Gulf Arabs such terms when you're busy queuing up to get a work visa in the Gulf :-)

“Soon afterwards, I started getting calls from some people asking me to take my father out (of the grave). They said we should take him out as he was a Wahabi, and Wahabis are not buried in that graveyard,” said Hamid, an advocate. He added that the “goons” who called them may have been backed by “radical Barelvi clerics”.

He also claimed that some of the men reached their home and reiterated their demand.

Hamid said he was told on phone that “around 100-150 people” had gathered at the burial ground.

“I did not go and kept repeating that he has already been buried. When they kept calling, I sent some people to the graveyard at 12.45 pm,” Hamid said.

Hamid’s cousin Mohammad Husain, 71, who returned to the graveyard, said, “Dozens of our relatives are buried in that graveyard but the goons insisted we give it in writing that Yusuf was our relative, or they would throw the body on the road. Even though we agreed, they exhumed the body.”"

You are still in denial mode I don't want to comment further as I know the realities and if I spill it here I will get a ban so I am not going to participate further.
