Ah okey ! Last year I meet with very nice guys in Agadir . They were Pakistanis but they live in London , ans we have talked during hours and hours about cricket . I ask them why this sport is so popular in Pakistan , India ... in the rest of the world it is football and in Pakistan and neighbour countries it is cricket !

Well Cricket is actually a British sport and it was played by the higher class or the elites. Its not only popular in Pakistan and India, but also in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Australia, Zimbabwe, West Indies, and South Africa. As you might have guessed, the obvious link here is commonwealth or former territories which were under British Colonial rule. Somehow over the years it sort of transformed from Gentlemen's game to Commercial game.

Football is not as popular but since Pakistan is a very diverse country, having many ethnicity, one such group that like to promote this game are Balochis with African decent. They can be found in the Province of Balochistan and in Pakistan's largest city of Karachi. They have created some Football pockets in the country but lack of infrastructure and lack of government's interest is another reason why we don't move forward

@Zarvan : I have already seen this video on facebook but I did not took the time to see it , wow I'am surprised .
On the video it is Jennifer. which had been on "Arab got talent" , she sang an Oum Kaltoum song and playing with a Oud . After this passage , she had a huge buzz !

And on your video , I think it was before it passage on "Arab go talent " . So the scene take place in Morocco and the two mens speak in Berber . I don't understand very well Berber but I can translate you that he say to her "Say something in Arabic" then she say "Ashadou ana la illah ila Allah wa ... " . Then the other men say "She also know how to recite the Qur'an" , and then she recite the Fatiha Beautiful voice

I can not tell if she do this to show them that she can speak Arabic, or because she converted for true to Islam . And I think she live in Morocco for long time .
