What's new

Modi's Clean India Drive & reality...

What's up with titles of your threads? It's against forum policy and also will cause otherwise serious issue into troll fest.

The problem is that my post contains multiple articles, so I couldn't just use any one article title. Instead, I came up with a thread title that summarizes the articles.

I was too ashamed seeing dirty city like faisalabad, gujranwala, etc. And the dirtiest of all karachi and lahore.
The problem in the subcontinent that we have no made new cities.

Faisalabad is cleaner by Indian cities standards...not cleaner though.

There is a huge difference in the dirt and filth you see in Indian cities with the trash and lack of cleanliness you see in Pakistan cities.

There is huge difference in the filthiness, dirt, open pooping culture in Indian cities like Mumbai to that of Karachi.

-You don't see roaming stray cows in cities in Pakistan with poop everywhere on the streets.

- Karachi has no open pooping culture, peeing on streets and just about anywhere, reason: even so called slums like Orangi Town has proper sewerage lines and homes have toilets, non existent in Mumbai slums, check Pics of Orangi Town and that of Mumbai slums...

- Orangi is BTW a non regulated Abadi and again a small part of it is slum, it has rather provided affordable housing to millions and the reason Karachi has lesser slums...Orangi Town called slum in one of the Telegraph article and quoted elsewhere is not true, it is a proper town with roads, gas and utilities connections, open grounds, hospitals, schools and colleges...

-And Karachi has this garbage collection problem in many towns, has improved in recent time with proper collection and disposal in many areas.

haha no worries enjoy..

That video Doo Doo posted shows only a small part of Jodhpur. For the most part, jodhpur is relatively clean by South Asian standards. The fact that Jodhpur gets almost as many tourists every year as the entirety of Pakistan is proof enough.
