What's new

Modi has become a prisoner of his own image

Modi will play the game clearly and cleverly. He knows what he is doing. When he does something he made sure next course of action . Time to re assess India Pakistan relationship

We shouldn't discuss about India's development, corruption, reforms,ETC, its India's internal matters, left upon their citizens to determine.

We should instead FOCUS/ discuss ON issues and disputes, related to other Sovereign Nations and ,and ways and mean to MITIGATE/resolve them, in an peaceful and cordial atmosphere,as stipulated in the INTERNATIONALLY recognised system,ie,the UNITED NATIONS.

The basic point is ON THE FUTURE OF KASHMIR.

As per U.N resolutions, let there BE a plebiscite for WHOLE OF KASHMIR, inclusive OF AZAD KASHMIR AND THE INDIAN OCCUPIED PART.

LET THE KASHMIRIS BE FREE TO DETERMINE THEIR OWN FUTURE.

Believe me, by bringing demographic changes BY FORCE,IN the I.O.K region, will NOT HELP.

LET the U.N, under its direct supervision, CONDUCT the ELECTIONS, and determine ONLY THOSE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO CAST THEIR VOTES.

A WIN WIN SITUATION FOR ALL.

AND IF THE KASHMIRIS DECIDE TO FORM THEIR OWN INDEPENDENT STATE, THEN LET THEM DO SO,

THE ENTIRE WORLD WILL SUPPORT THEIR CAUSE.

I am emphasizing these POINTS, JUST to remind both the INNOCENT citizens of INDIA AND PAKISTAN, that even though India MILITARY has the CONVENTIONAL military UPPER hand, Pakistan HAS MUCH MORE NUCLEAR WEAPONS STOCKPILES and its MISSILE FORCES is much more ADVANCED THAN that of INDIA

THE MAIN DANGER IS THAT OFF A ALL OUT NUCLEAR EXCHANGE,ITS RADIO ACTIVE FALLOUT EFFECT, DAMAGE TO THE OZONE LAYER,ETC,ETC.

WITHOUT ANY POINT OF DOUBT , BOTH THE COUNTRIES WILL LITERALLY CEASE TO EXIST AND REVERT BACK TO THE STONE AGE, AND WORST OF ALL, FACE AND LIVE WITH THE FUTURE GENERATIONS OF MUTATED CHILDREN,

PLEASE BE LOGICAL,AND REVERT BACK YOUR ARMED FORCES,AND LET THE WORLD LIVE IN PEACE.

MODI'S /R.S,S FACE SAVING ISSUE, NOT AN IMPORTANT ISSUE AT ALL.

NO ONE REALLY CARES, EXCEPTS HIS ELECTORAL VOTERS.

SAVE BOTH INDIA AND PAKISTANIS INNOCENT CITIZENS FROM MEETING THEIR MAN MADE DOOMS DAY

FROM A NEUTRAL BANGLADESHI
My dear for UN resolution to take place Pakistan must completely remove its troops from P.... O. K. İndia will have to place sufficient troops to defend in case of another Invasion by Pakistan. Only after this vote 3 part of resolution comes in.

Anyways as per shimla agreement UN is no one in kashmir issue. All pending issues should be addressed bilaterally by India and Pakistan. That's why you won't see US UN China Russia stays away from kashmir.

And don't worry about Nuclear war. It's bad persay. But what can you do when your enemy want to use it? Absolute retaliation so no more nuclear weapons can be used.

Why India will attack Pakistan? Only when terrorists Infiltration takes place. Why it's so hard for u guys to understand? I don't know. India is huge. Even with couple nuclear strikes our civilization will thrive to exist. Which is well known. It doesn't mean one bomb will destroy entire state or city. For the size of India you will need at least some 500 heavy US/Russian yield with MIRV with multiple missiles. With in few strikes from Pakistan India will retaliate even from Andaman or from under sea subs or surface ships or from fighter jets. By then Pakistan with less land mass

Go ahead and re assess, severe diplomatic tiesetc ,if you like. but NO WAR.

WHY ONLY PAKISTANI TROOPS AND NOT INDIANS?

BOTH COUNTRIES MUST PULL BACK THEIR TROOPS FROM KASHMIR SIMULTANEOUSLY.

THIS IS THE MOST LOGICAL APPROACH.

AND THE U.N SHOULD SEND IN THEIR INTERNATIONAL TROOPS TO MONITOR AND ENSURE PEACE AND STABILITY.

Go ahead and re assess, severe diplomatic tiesetc ,if you like. but NO WAR.
Re assess means its should on both sides. It's not gonna be business as usual where another terrorist attack our Armed forces and we give proof and then things as usual. Unnecessary needling into others internal matters will lead to unease. Now India shown it will not take terror proxies as normal way of life. If Pakistan have complaints about the indian needling with terror proxies take it to UN and international community with evidence. Simple. Way to coexist

PLEASE DONT FORGET WHAT YOU ALL DID BEFORE PRIOR TO 1971 AND LATER,WHY SHOULD ANYONE TRUST YOU ANYWHERE

PLEASE DONT FORGET WHAT YOU ALL DID BEFORE PRIOR TO 1971 AND LATER,WHY SHOULD ANYONE TRUST YOU ANYWHERE

Lets be practical. Plebiscite is out of question, that is impossible. Considering this fact, we can have a meaningful discussion trying to explore other options.

See u said let there be UN resolution. UN resolution states what I said. It's upto Pakistan to cancel this resolution. And reapply for new resolution like which u have mentioned. Now I hope you can see Indian point of view. As per Indian constitution all J&K is another state of India. But not the case for Pakistan as you named it as Azad Kashmir a independent country. Lots of weight is on Indian side. Lots of back tracking on Pakistan side from one stand to another in different course of time. Wonder why one loss all for one state. When you and us have lots of poor people and lots to do. India stability will keep improving its economy. We don't face major war with in country. So India can hold on to its ground. Better Pakistan first focus on economic development with China and challenge India from there on. This is what I call misplaced priority

PLEASE DONT FORGET WHAT YOU ALL DID BEFORE PRIOR TO 1971 AND LATER,WHY SHOULD ANYONE TRUST YOU ANYWHERE
You don't have to trust India. You just have to follow internationally accepted laws. Which states terror policies of any kind is wrong. Why UN designated terrorists are roaming freely in Pakistan? If Pakistan think he is not a terrorist then go to UN fight for his case. Then how can you expect others to come for your help. ?

Lets be practical. Plebiscite is out of question, that is impossible. Considering this fact, we can have a meaningful discussion trying to explore other options.

Plebsct is not possible without Pakistan following first two division of the resolution. More over even then India could put forward Shimla agreements to keep UN resolution away. That's why you see UN denied to accept Kashmir proof of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif in latest UN Summit. It's bilateral. UN has no authority to poke nose into India's internal situations. Bad moves and policies by Congress led to this pathetic situation. This government will use all our rights we deserve. According to international laws and internal laws

FREEDOM FIGHTERS NOT TERRORISTS. THAT'S WHAT WE WERE NAMED AS ALONG WITH OUR KASHMIRI BROTHERS.

BOTH INDIA AND PAKISTAN SHOULD WITHDRAW THEIR ARMED FORCES IMMEDIATELY FROM KASHMIR.

KASHMIR WAS NEVER A PART OF INDIA NOR WILL IT BE IN FUTURE.

USE OF BRUTAL FORCE ARE MAKING THEM MORE ANTI INDIANS JUST LIKE US PRE 1971 AND TURNED US AGAINST PAKISTAN SUBSEQUENTLY,

DID THE WORLD TERM US AS TERRORISTS DURING THAT TIME?

WHY ON EARTH SHOULD INDIA AND PAKISTAN DETERMINE KASHMIR'S FUTURE? LET THEM DECIDE THEIR OWN.

That is why I dont understand why Pakistan continues beating the dead horse. UN resolution has no relevance. I dont know if Pakistan benefits in any way keeping the issue alive. I believe it is to secure the rivers or may be to divert attention from other issues.
I see the three possibilities for Kashmir:-
1) The same situation prevails and it seems it will prevail.
2) There is bloody war with full Chinese involvement which can go nuclear. For Kashmir to secede India has to be destroyed but before that India ensure that Pakistan is destroyed as well. But this is near impossible. Neither China will involve nor the world will allow the war to continue.
3) The third solution is a possible way to peace. Abrogation of 370 in Kashmir with demographic dilution.

SIMLA AGREEMENT WAS A FACE SAVING ISSUE FOR PAKISTAN, WHERE YOU WON. DO YOU ALL WANT TO SHARE A SIMILAR SCENARIO?

WELL THEN, KEEP ON BLEEDING AWAY, BOTH FINANCIALLY BY MAINTAINING A 700 + THOUSAND ARMED TROOPS AND BY THE ANGRY ARMED KASHMIRIS RETALIATION AND SUBSEQUENT WAR OF ATTRITION.

Dont worry India very is safe. India can afford Kashmir, no issues. It helps raise nationalistic sentiments and also keeps the control of Pakistan with the control of its rivers. The present victim is only Indian Kashmir. And if the situation prevails Pakistan will also be a victim in 10-20 years when India starts using the western rivers of the IWT with significant reduction in flow of those rivers.

Buddy, China doesnt care what happens downstream. Already there are dams in Tibet on Brahmaputra.

Brahmaputra flows through north eastern India which have numerous mighty rivers which are tributaries of Brahmaputra and also receive very high rainfall. So NE is far from water starved. And if in some way the Brahmaputra's flow is reduced. So much that it causes water shortage in Assam, India will have no option but to dam Brahmaputra. Who is affected? Bangladesh. Can you afford that? An Indian dam across Brahmaputra will be devastating for BD. India will manage.

Chinese dam on Brahmaputra India outraged. But the government reacts meekly

By Saurabh Dubey

A vast and densely populated region of North-east India that depends on water from Brahmaputra and its tributaries is feeling agitated over China’s ambitious efforts to redraw its water map. China’s reported plan to divert the Brahmaputra from its upper reaches is being seen as a direct affront to India and a violation of International norms of sharing river waters. Once the construction of dam is complete, the control on the water of Brahmaputra will be in the hands of China. As the Brahmaputra is the lifeline of North East India, the life and environment in the region will be adversely affected by this development. The term Brahmaputra means “son of brahma” and in the early days of Indus valley civilizations Brahmaputra River is the subject of faith and legends of Bharat.

The Brahmaputra flows for about 1,625- km inside the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and for a further 918-km inside India. This is not the first time that tension is building up between India and China over Brahmaputra projects, which could affect the flow of water into India.

The BJP was quick to react to these reports and demanded that if there is fresh evidence of China’s intentions then India should immediately take up this matter with the Chinese authority. “These reports are of real concern to India. Since the last two years, there are reports that China wants to divert Brahmaputra waters from the Himalayas. If it is diverted, we will have real problems which will affect the economy of the whole region,” BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said. The BJP MP had raised the issue in the Rajya Sabha last year.

Besides India, which raised the construction of a 510 MW dam on the Brahmaputra in talks with the Chinese leadership for many times. Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia had expressed similar concerns over eight dams being built on the Mekong river. The blame game, voiced in vulnerable river towns and Asian capitals from Pakistan to Vietnam, is rooted in fear that China’s accelerating programme of damming every major river flowing from the Tibetan plateau will trigger environmental imbalance, natural disasters, degrade fragile ecologies, divert vital water supplies.

A few analysts and environmental advocates even speak of water as a future trigger for war or diplomatic strong-arming, though others strongly doubt it will come to that. Still, the remapping of the water flow in the world’s most heavily populated and thirstiest region is happening on a gigantic scale, with potentially strategic implications. On the eight great Tibetan rivers alone, almost 20 dams have been built or are under construction while some 40 more are planned or proposed.

China is not alone in disrupting the region’s water flows. Others are doing it with even worse consequences. But China’s vast thirst for power and water, its control over the sources of the rivers and its ever-growing political clout make it a singular target of criticism and suspicion. “Whether China intends to use water as a political weapon or not, it is acquiring the capability to turn off the tap if it wants to — a leverage it can use to keep any riparian neighbor’s on good behavior,” says Brahma Chellaney, an analyst at New Delhi’s Center for Policy Research and author of the forthcoming book Water: Asia’s New Battlefield.

Tibet’s spiritual leader, Dalai Lama, has also warned of looming dangers stemming from the Tibetan plateau. “It’s something very, very essential. So, since millions of Indians use water coming from the Himalayan glaciers… I think you (India) should express more serious concern. This is nothing to do with politics, just everybody’s interests, including Chinese people,” he said about the talking of Chinese intentions over the redrawing water map.

Although China is saying that it is constructing the dam to produce power but actually some hidden agendas are also associated with it.

The water resources of Brahmaputra will be a strong point to blackmail India. If China blocks the water in Brahmaputra, it will lead to famine in the whole NE region. India needs to take this issue seriously. The attention of international community needs to be attracted. But the problem here is that China does not care for anyone. It is trying an act of international bully. India needs a totally different tactic to tackle China. But can it handle.

Thus, the important concern is that whether the Indian policy makers will wake up before it’s too late. India lose its dignity in past because of sleeping diplomacy of Jawaharlal Nehru. When China started to build the Sinkiang to Ali highway in 1951 than our diplomats showed their concerned about the highway in written on October 18, 1958. In his conversation with Henry Kissinger , the than Chinese premier Zhou Enlai quoted “ even three years after the road was built, Nehru didn’t know about it. In my discussion with Nehru on the Sino–Indian boundary in 1956, he suddenly raised the issue of the road. I said, ‘you didn’t even know we were building a road for the last three years, and now you suddenly say that is your territory, I remarked upon how strange this was” (The National Security Archive). Although if it did not happen in the case of Brahmputra, in the case of highway projects and railway projects, we all know the GoI failed the nation. Indian government always wakes up after the happening of policy disaster.:china:

Indian government always wakes up after the happening of policy disaster.:china::-):-):-):-) :pdf:.
