What is the need of this when we have Bases as far as North east and South India,even 200 km around this Highway,there are Atleast four Airbases,This is redundant for geographically big countries.

Double Edge sword......easy mathematics, in case of war, you take your assets 3000 km away then you will need to fly back that distance to attack Pakistan.

Bareilly,Gwalior Sarsawa is not 3000 KM away from Pak.

Which Pak stand off weapon or Jet conduct a Air strike in Central Indian Air Bases, let alone north East and South India.
