The fukin' UPA government had been sitting on its a$$ for the 10 years it has misruled the country and did nothing for defence procurement. They were busy molly coddling the dalits and OBCs for political gain. They even waved Rs 70,000 crores for farmers which made things worse and fuked up the economy. 70,000 crores would have got 150 top-of-the-line jet fighters for the IAF which could have dumped these antique half century old MiG-21s!

Mig-21 is not operated by BAF,F-7 is.
If you retried those that what all will you have is 3 operational mig-29 in your AF
Airguards in BAF were bought as recently in 2007 and 2013
Some 8 or 9 old mb variants were retired if i am not wrong which were purchased back in late 80's

Tejas is at fault

The programme has been running for decades, its purpose was supposed to replace all this junk flying in the IAF but the Tejas programme has been such a joke with so many delays that induction has been pushed back years if not decades forcing india to keep this crap flying

If india had spent money on buying a alternative to replace these flying coffins then Tejas programme would have been severely hit

Tejas has scewed india on so many levels, so many times and wasted so much resources. It should be awarded the Nishan-e-Pakistan

Issue is not so black and white. Who are these jets for - in the end our farmers as much as our middle class and industrialists.

The sad thing was if these 70,000 crores would have gone to poor and deserving farmers then UPA would have got all my love but instead poor kept committing suicide and it was the rich fat farmers of Haryana and Punjab who got the govt money and bought mercs and bmws for their rapists sons.
