INAS 303 "Black Panthers" is the youngest and only the second fighter squadron in the Indian Naval Aviation. It was raised in 2009 and was slated to be equipped with the MiG-29K carrier born fighter aircraft being procured from Russia. The Squadron is commanded by Commander A D Theophillis.

The first two MiG-29s of the Squadron arrived at Dabolim in CKD condition in December 2009. They are expected to take flight in early 2010 and a formal commissioning ceremony is expected to take place.
