Isn't it a plain insult to the Mig 29, SU 30 and F-35 to be placed next to LCA in pictures that you posted? Are you high or something?

LCA is nothing for the PAF of the near future. Actually, we'll talk once it can fire the weapons and do A-A sorties.
PAK-FA is gonna be delivered in 2017 based on current assumptions, maybe delayed or something.
F-35, you are not getting them, not until USAF orders have been fulfilled and the export partners, plus Lockheed said that F-35 would be option only if India chooses a certain number of F-16INs. It didn't say that India can buy F-35, in fact you can't buy 126 of them in 10billion dollar MMRCA not to mention the weapons.
Mirage is already outdated, production lines ramped down.
Rafale seems to have been left out according to some other Indian troll here, so i Don't see IAF being soooooooo good, no until 2017. That's 7 years, PAF already has a modernisation plan 2019, i am sure they would be 'India Centric' and like always pick the best.

Umm, the fact that you are counting on future, i would say, that in the next 5 years PAF will be a very potent force with the JF-17s, J-10s and the F-16 BLK 52s. Maybe some other fighter. Talk about now, what you have, not what you want.

Lastly, even if India had 800 Rafale or Typhoons, and assuming India attacked Pakistan, do you think Pakistan would sit on its butt relying only on the Airforce? We have Cruise missiles and Ballistic missiles as well with conventional war heads, which can be more than enough to cripple Western India.

This is not Israel Airforce verses the Arab or Iraqi Airforce.

PAF history is full with glory and so will be the future.....

Oh BTW Spada 2000 would be operational by 2013, at a cost of 600 million Euros, the system is potent enough to knock out Indian Jets.

What materializes in the next decade or so is to be seen, however in current scenario, it's time to sit and think.

What is the avg cost of one hour sortie, fuel parts maintenance? Any air force experts? Thanks

PAf has also got junks.......like F-7 & MIrage.........& they r more older.......but PAF maintain them & our accident ratio is less!!!
IAF should reduce its fleet a bit & increase the ground facilities of maintaining aircrafts.....................i think IAF has problem with their ground staff only......may be they r not working properly!!!

Coming this from a country where its majority A/Cs are Chinese and itself goes through crashes is Funny, not unusual in the case of pakistanis!!:partay:

Indian media is Free (unlike China) and Objective (unlike Pakistan) in reporting each incident, sure IAF is a force to recon with, and in coming years graveyard for Junky Gliders flown by our neighbors. :partay:

Firstly you need to work on your figures, with around 200 Mirages and some 50 F-16s, the current balance tilts well towards the Western inventory, and you Indians seem to fall out of sky even when our so called Junky Gliders thrive in your nightmares. :woot:

All this Flashy reports are good for big talk, but it does not change the fact majority is Chinese Junk and others are all VINTAGE aircrafts bought in 60/70s!!:rofl:

List of aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What you call flashy reports are part of the history, it's factual incident hence no big talk there. What you term as vintage junk, actually achieved the target of flying 8000 sorties in a two week exercise without a mishap, can your IAF even comprehend that, more over ask your self, when was the last time your hi-tech airforce took the risk of flying a single engine fighter on the Republic day parade.:cheesy:

Windjammer, you have posted the cheapest kill a few times ? :azn:

My dear, even Allan Warnes, thinks it's one of it's own kind incident.
Besides, there are always Noobs who need enlightening. :D
