I like how in Bangladesh, just like in Indonesia, the locals use culturally-relevant names instead of borrowed Arabic ones.
That depends on the importance and definition of 'culture' to a Bangladesh person. I guess most people aren't really big on drawing on religion for naming inspiration. Bengali culture and religiosity are not really opposing values or at odds with each other. Religion is a private personal mode of salvation, not organized activity.
Over-emphasizing and shoving either culture or religiosity down people's throats is normally frowned upon. Each has its own place and period of emphasis.
