Key player of Lal masjid standoff Maulana released by the court. Another hardliner went home. What next ?

(Its ok if that guy clan stand off killed few govt employees.)

.
I condemn this development. But who is responsible for this, Courts or the GoP? I would say the GoP/Intelligence agencies who failed to provide adequate evidence that would help the court to keep him behind the bars for long enough time. His wife is already free though she was also an accomplice.

.
Well, extremist elements breeding ground right in the middle of country capitol. Some one in our agencies are responsible who put black curtain front of this business. Plus ex govt officials too, it goes back to General Zia era. If Musharraf didn't do this, imagine what would be Islamabad by now.

Right after his release again, he is talking like another Mullah Sufi, implementing shariah.
A guy who support suicide bombing, released by Supreme Court. According to him those soldiers fall in the line of duty, should not say their name-e-janaza.
tsk tsk

Only in Pakistan sir jee. This could happen only in Pakistan. People blinded by a blatant lie disguised as "Free" judiciary.

It was one of your "free" CJs slogans to get this sick killer out and it was one of the reasons he was sacked. Enjoy your Azad Adlia.:partay:

well bro court has got to do wat court has got to do. if gov has failed to provide any evidence then a free judiciary will never let him stay behind the bars.

A Justice can only hold or release a suspect based on the evidence he is provided with. "Innocent until proven guilty" a legal right that the accused in criminal trials has in any civilized country. The burden of proof is thus on the prosecution, which has to collect and present enough compelling evidence to convince the judge (or Judge and jury), who are restrained and ordered by law to consider only actual evidence and testimony that is legally admissible, and in most cases lawfully obtained, that the accused is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. In case of remaining doubts, the accused is to be acquitted. This presumption is seen to stem from the Latin legal principle that ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat (the burden of proof rests on who asserts, not on who denies).

I understand your sentiments but law doesn’t work on sentiments. Maybe you can help the prosecution by providing them with evidences if you have any.

Evidence? there was ample amount of it!!

The fact they had illegal munitions and killed army personnel. Is that not evidence? Heck, we saw all the evidence one court would need on LIVE TV!!!

Yet, a man guilty of killing hundreds if not thousands of people has been released.

It's amusing seriously, laughable when people say there is no evidence against these sick mental killers!

People often revert to denial mode when they discover the uncovered truth i.e. the blatant lie of "Free" judiciary.

EDIT: He was also responsible for harassment of local residents, destroyed government property, held Police men as hostages and I could go on and on..

I believe what you are saying is correct. However, whatever evidences presented in the court did not convince the justice for the reason we don’t know. The best you can do is to file a petition in the court, hire a really good lawyer and fight the case.

By the way, he is released on bail amounting to Rs200,000 in a case of forced occupation of a children’s library. I don't know in how many cases he was nominated by the State and what happened to those cases? At any rate, the 'free judiciary' has let him go on bail in a case of forced occupation of a children's library not in a case of murder etc. His wife was also released during the time of Dogar Raj.

Well this guy is for sure be used again by our 'frineds' and no doubt soon you will find him rising again.

Raising an even more stronger army of terrorists and putting the already fluid situation to pain.

BTW, what could the agencies have done if all the politicians who were once part of the operation of Lal Mosque just blatantly refused of their involvement and blamed everything on Mush.

They were again after their chairs!!

Moreover, most of our leaders in the present govt still consider both the terrorist killed and these politicians as heroes, there is no surprise that he is released.

BTW, his wife had already been talking of taking revenge and making up the deficiencies the next time.

This man came on national TV and confessed to harassing and torturing those women he held hostage. He confessed he had armed men inside his "school".

And now the court says he's innocent? come on. Seriously, wake up.

This will give the militants a publicity coup, as they have always alleged that nothing illegal was taking place inside Lal Masjid. Now with Abdul Aziz, the burqa clad Mullah's release, they will claim that the court exhonerates their actions...Which is a completely false perception to take.

No matter how much we may castigate them, but Pakistani courts do, and always have done, go by the evidence presented to them by the prosecution. If the government was so anept at gathering proper evidence, in a legal way, rather than immediately washing away evidence using Fire Engines, and whitewashing the walls, we might have stood a better chance.

The GOP should have instructed the prosecutor and police to do their utmost to make a rock solid case against this man and his cohorts.

Without a solid case against him (God knows why), keeping him in jail after more than a year, had become untenable.

We must remember, he's only been bailed, and this case may yet be judged with a guilty verdict. But the chances are looking slim.

As for AZAd adlia, well this case was not heard by CJ Iftikhar M. Chaudhry, so his presence or lack of it, has hardly affected the case.

lol.

So according to the "free" CJ, a person who has a pending trial for murder and treason should be released on bail?

Pakistan Zindabad! :pakistan::yahoo:
