We were taught maths by the use of cane. I turned out to hate it the most because all the teachers in our school (especially maths) were facking strict and took liberties in caning us, hitting us with wooden dusters, harsh punishments in the baking sun and plain other forms of torture. It was a missionary school but LOVE of God was non-existent for weaker students. Brighter students got the most attention. I hate my maths teachers even at the age of 40+ for what they did to me.

I left maths a long time ago. And now in my financial management studies I only keep in touch with those topics that are useful to me.

I hate the following in decreasing order :

01 Fourier Series

02 Laplase Theorem

03 Differentiation & Integration

04 Trignometry

05 Geometry

06 Sets & Matrix

I like Simple maths , 56+67= ^_^ or the Simple Algebra and simple questions from 3,4,5 and 6 .

Geometry,Set and Matrix are fun but the rest are the pain in arse.

Our Maths school teacher was strict but our Chemistry teacher , Mr Uppal ........ He used to use Bamboo stick on hands of Boys and butts of Girls and Made us chant Bharat mata ki jai and circle around his front and back door

My uncle used to teach me maths and i used to get 0 in it but in science i used to get 10/10 .

For Maths , I used to get note daily : He better sell oranges and apples on the roadside instead of studying Maths and when my mom used to read them , she used to cry and then came a slap out from no where

I love maths and now have a career in Maths.

LOVE LOVE IT. Without Maths I would be failure in my working career.

I love FFT as well .. Infact I am just going to process 1.3TB of data through an FFT code in MATLAB

Anyway I hate the following in math:
a) Chinese Rings
b) Topology
c) Some parts of Number theory

Got to agree with you . I never used my hands to do Maths . All i did was cram and some how manged till school




There is a guy in my coaching center who asks silly yet basic questions which I think most people know , like how to do cross multiplication , how -- = +,how -3 = x +4 gives x+7= 0
