So racial nationalism is surging in Russia as well, this is intriguing, but perhaps not surprising.

Right wing nationalism is rising in russia and europe also..

No massive riots, just some manifestations. Why? In Russia nowadays full of thieves, bandits, drugdillers and other scums from the Caucasus and Asia (apart from the usual, normal people who came to work honestly - nobody has anything against them)
These rascals enjoy the fact that Russian - cultured people and inherently kind and patient. But even the patience of the Russian people - not unlimited.
When Russian patience over - we will do with the villains as our fathers did.
And a hundred years later they will still recover population.
