KP has many kacha housing. I guess we can expect more casualties there-especially the pashtun areas. Kohistan too is an extremely under developed region. Houses built need to be earthquake resistant.

U did not understand me,yr way of commenting is wrong. U have written "Good news,gilgit has reported no casualtes". How can it be "good news" when already 100 ppl have died in different parts of Pakistan and many houses collapsed. Buildings have reported huge cracks in Islamabad, I would say just escaped from the jaws of death.

I know. Even one death matters. But still it is better that GB or Punjab haven't reported any casualty. The lower the casualty the better.

This was a powerful earthquake compared to last october 8. 2015, but due to the epicenter being to deep that is 192 km as compared to the 2005 which was 15 km i think, the damages will be limited i hope!
